SKATE wins.

only thing good about this game is the guitar hero III demo coming with it. like come on, did they just start making thing game wen they found out SKATE was being made just so they can prove that they are the best? because this game looks rushed and very bad.

the animations look very fake and it actually looks worse then the last tony hawk. my brother is a hardcore tony hawk fan and even he chooses SKATE over this.

wow... they f***ed this one up good. it looks so stale and bland. the way you just pop up from the ground no ollie no nothing looks stupid. Im going to buy SKATE the 12th no doubt about it but if Im going to pick this game up or not is 100% up to how the demo plays.... but judging by the vidoes it doesnt look good.

Im sorry but after playing SKATE, Tony Hawk is dead to me. Proving ground is the same Tony Hawk game with Nail the Grab feature. The gameplay is still the same old over the top skating. SKATE blow any TH game out of the water. This is coming from an ex skater, This is just my opinion. Sorry Tony Hawk, there's a new skateboarding king, and thats my right THUMB.. haha j/k

Well.. some of us actually prefer the arcadey combo action of THPS. This franchise has declined seriously throughout the years though, so saying Skate (or I'm sorry, SKATE) is better may not be that big of an achievement anyhow. I'm still going to give it a fair shot though, no harm in playing a free demo.
