Xbox 360 PS3

Ubisoft sent us this announcement trailer for Call of Juarez 2. Despite its name, this game is a prequel to the first one.

I did not like the first one bit. Hench I hope they do not copy /paste gameplay so I can at least have a look at it.

Couldn't stand the fiddly dual reticule targeting bullet time aiming (phew!) from the original.

Just give us a straightforward wild west shooter this time Ubi and cut out the needless gimmicks.

I thought the first one's controls were just ass.

Well, that definitely hyped me quite a bit! But on the other hand I haven't played the first one, I just heard about it that the gameplay was apparently a mixed bag.. Well, on my "watchlist" anyway :)

I thought the game was called Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, not Call of Juarez 2.

Take a look on the end of the video, BlimBlim :)

I would like to see the reasons behind making a sequel to such a critics and sales failure.

I liked Call of Juarez. The only thing that bothered me were the huge fences, felt like a dwarf.

I would love that! I think the only game like that is Outlaws from... well the stone age.
Anyway that was awesome! (Back then when dinosaurs hunted us into our caves...)

The first one sucked from what I could judge after playing the demo. Now this game has some badass graphics, we'll see about the rest.

The game was profitable, it didn't need to sell 2 million copies to break even for several reasons.

i liked the first game, at least for the low price i picked it up for. the billy missions where a bit bleh, but honestly, reading from the bible in a pulp fiction sort of war before blowing someones face off was just plain awesome imo.

Yuck, barren wild-west environments and cowboys!

No thanks...

What's with the new video streaming thing? NEVER works for me, always have to go to "low quality version"...

You're sure you don't have Adblock blocking something? Or Noscript? Tried different browsers?

I wondered the exact same thing about Killzone 2 and apparently that turned out OK so maybe this will too?

same, whatever new streaming has been added with the weird green "knight rider" like loading thing just does not like my PC, cos it doesnt work for shit (yet the old one worked fine and dandy before) i too have to jump to low quality stream.

i loved the first one, not sure why so many people hated it. the stealth parts weren't bad and the wide open maps were really cozy. the multiplayer was fun too. this prequel can only improve on that of course so i expect this to be even more fun.

Tried it in 3 browsers:
Internet Explorer
Google Chrome
Firefox (with Adblock turned off)

STILL didn't work at all. Get that knight rider stuff. Is it loading the whole video? Should I wait? Is this not actual 'streaming'?
