might get this if the co-op is any good, but the SP looks shit as always in alien games

It's such a shame that they are just pasting Aliens into an all to common FPS formula. I'd hope it at least play well for what it is.

The atmosphere looks decent but the actual shooting and combat just looks terrible. It looks clunky with poor hit detection and physics, but that is just from watching a few videos. Maybe it will turn out ok.

Wow they missed the mark on this game. Cliched, infantile writing and from the looks of it might be a Xbox 360 launch title. The voice acting is horrid and the animations are almost as robotic as that Power Loader. The most surprising thing is that the original AVP for PC seems to be the best game to do justice to the franchise. Had high hopes for this but im going to take this off the pre-order list and go for Metal Gear Rising instead.

Your absolutely right . I'm actually planning to buy MGR when it's around $20-$30. The gameplay and art style look great but everything else seems like it took a back seat so i'm in no rush buying it on day 1. In the end I rather pay off my copy of GTA V with the funds saved.

The game itself looks decent but nothing more. Visually quite weak.

Just admit it, there has not been a proper Aliens game and this is their chance and yours... Alien vs Predator games don't count because of the Predator being there with their super suit and abilities... this game should be more into the scares and challenge in terms of single player... on mp... I can see fanbois getting into it then complaining that it doesn't play like CoD meh...
