Namco released this trailer of SoulCalibur IV showing the downloadable content of the game in action. And it's no surprise to see both famous Star Wars characters in a duel.

Now I finally have the incentive I need to get this. I was really pissed at the fact that 360 owners wouldn't be getting Darth Vader, but now we are!
A purchase, methinks!
150 maybe, 100 defo!
If it were free, I may have thought about finally picking up the game, but it's this type of thing that made me decide not to bother with it. Good job Scamco. Now go back to making us pay for cheats.
Thanks but no thanks Namco.
I seriously HATE theese kind of shit, when they charge for things already developed... that's fucked up. Also, when you pay 70 € for a game, it better have ALL things unlocked.
i fucking HATE they charge extra for weapons in a game (the ones who pre-order the game gets extra weapons for use online).. or the ones who pays extra for the "collectors edition" and gets extra weapon unlocks in the games online-mode....
Yeah... it would be fine, but the thing is that the weapons are already ON THE FUCKING DISC (that I've payed 70€ for), and I can't fucking use them...
The other thing is that it destroys the balance in the games online-mode!!!!
Yeah, that's right DICE, and your Battlefield: Bad Company SCAM! But you're not alone, I've seen this thing more and more with every release... and it fucking pisses US (the gamers, your customers) off!!!! >_<
And stop charge extra just for the game because it's on console and not PC..
EXample: Farcry 2 on the PC costs 40€ and the 360/ps3-version costs 70€!!!!! WTF!!!??!?
And stop charging for themes and gamer pictures. it SUCKS ass and should be released for free (witch they already are on Sony's online service).
And I hate to see download's like many JRPG's on the Xbox360 that charge for little unsignificant things that's already on the disc... the file-size of the download exposes them; 114kb, fixed download. (it's already on the disc).. Fucking shit, you're destroying the gaming world!
And fuck you, you fucking idiots that keeps on downloading games for free (stealing them), because you're ALSO destroying the gaming climate. You're the REAL reason developers now-a-days charge for EVERYTHING they can possible charge for....
And stop BUY all the crap they release that should have been already included in the games release from the beginning!
**pheeew**
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE games, gamer for life, but I still HATE when I've paid the full fucking OVER-PRICED price for a game and still not getting the full game. It sucks ASS =/

I mean what is the reason of this?
It should be vice versa really.
PCs can handle better graphics, MODs, free online...etc. and they pay less, but on consoles, w have to pay for online (except on PS3), pay for DLC and pay twice as much and not even get the graphics up on a high end PC...doesn't make any damn sense.
If the console games cost as much as PC I could have afford like 3 games instead of 1 or 2.
I just feel like I want to throw up when I see for example Dead Space or Far Cry 2 or any othher multiplatform game...have all 3 listed and PC is the cheapest one with the same content (sometimes more) as the console versions but the console versions have the higher price tag.
Thats what pisses me off.

so the most "logic" solution for this would be to "punish" the PC-games with the higher price-tag, and the console-games should be cheaper, since console-gamers in general are more loyal and BUY their games (I don't think more than maybe 5-10% download their console games illegal, and I would guess over 50% download their PC-games for free)....
And as mentioned, the console-edition can sometimes be more limited in the use of mods, 3:d party hardware (driving wheels... yeah Microsoft, I'm looking at YOU).
Sorry for the language though, I got a little ****** off.... =/
It all makes perfect sense. People buy this shit, so they make it. Stop buying it. You have every right as a consumer to complain about this stuff.. but it has nothing to do with PC games being cheap, console games are just overpriced. This is especially true when you consider how little value these products hold after just a month on the shelves.
BTW--Your "statistics" concerning piracy are.. well, fictional. I'm not going to suggest that piracy isn't a big issue on the PC, but just about every Xbox 360 release is out and about in that scene prior to its retail release.. and there are thousands and thousands of people participating. There's also a massive second hand gaming market, which doesn't exist on the PC, and which has simular effects on the publisher's bottom line.
I love SCIV, and I'd buy another DLC pack if it were a huge amount of content.. but I sure as hell am not shelling out squat for Vader. Hell, can I sell Yoda and The Apprentice back to Namco?
