I once knocked out Jnr in 1 round 2 knock outs. (i didn't even think that would happen!)

This game'll be amazing on the hard difficulty.

Edit: lol Sony press conference video reference at the end.

I just button smash (screw the analog stick) and kick the crap out of roy jones jr. Keep on throwing haymaker and he'll get knocked out. It's too easy. Well the demo at least. However, when I played Jones Jr, he was slower but his punch was more powerful. Comin out soon.

Graphically it's amzing offcourse, but what about the gameplay?
I haven't got an HD for the 360 so I haven't been able to play the demo.
Does it actually feel like your hitting someone realy hard(ala condemned)?

The gameplay is excellent.

If you loved any of the Fight Night games before this you will think its the dogs balls. I havnt played my 360 for i dunno, about a week or 2 now, this will be my sole reason for playing it!

Sort of bad as i would always play FN2 before i went to bed, 2 hours laters and i was done, not good for my health at all.

Ok, thanks...
it's just that it seems your not really hitting your opponent hard when looking at the trailers, but I suppose that feeling comes when you actually control the game yourself...

You mean the opposite about Jones im sure? Jones punches oh say... 5... 6 times faster than Bernard Hopkins.

The gameplay is awesome for this game and jato you truly get the experience as if you are hitting someone hard.. especially with the super punch, flash ko, and the first person mode.

Its amazing.

Also you are definetly wrong about roy jones being slower whoever said that :) I unleash those 5 to 6 punch combinations so fast its unbelievable.

I cant find much to complain about this game.. so WTF EA? Are you finally making a game actually worth the plastic that holds it? I refuse to believe it.

Oh damn... you need a high definition display to play the demo? It wont work on standard definition?

Yes EA has finally made the perfect game :)

If you need help with things to complain about visit the ps3 section of any gaming website and you'll see how many people are saying the graphics for this game are terrible and the ps3 fight night tech demo at e3 looks 100 times better. The actual ingame from the 360 beats out that tech demo I don't know maybe people are just blind =)

I actually redownloaded the E3 PS3 tech demo and it looks like crap compared to the demo we are playing right now, low res blurry textures and all-round unpolished and ugly, as you could expect from such an early version. Like pre-alpha.

They've really come a long way since then but we shouldnt kid ourselves that this wont look the same on the PS3 because it will, but I doubt it will look much if at all better because its the GPU running this game not some cell processor. This if any game is GPU bound, the CPU is left running almost nothing.

The only thing I'm worried about the PS3 version is that they'll add some "muscle physics" that make the muscles bounce as your character moves and then claim only the PS3 can do it. They MUST have something set aside to suck up to Sony.

Oh and X360.IGN.COM have REVIEWED the game now, go check it.

edit: And as usual they piss all over it.. WTF?

By that I meant the best boxing game ever gets a low score WHY? They give any half-assed FPS 9+ but in the slim genre of boxing the king gets a not-so great score. Thanks IGN.

edit: or reading the comments at IGN it looks like EA screwed up again, or more likely left important things out so they can milk us again next year. WHEE.

So whaddaya know, I got to complain afterall :(

I think he meant that he didn't have a hard drive. The game works on a regular SD set. That's all I have here, so I just went and got the VGA cable. Everything looks great on my monitor!

IGN did kind piss on this game over the fact that the Menus and commentarry didnt change or improve much over FNR2. This lowerd its sore to 8.5. I think shoud at leased get a 9 but Ign has always been rough on sports games except for NBA Live 06 which got the low score it deserved couse it sucks.

The Fight Night games shouldnt even been in the same sentence as the other EA Sports Games.

The Knockout kings titles were in line with the other crappy EA sports games, but Fight Night is in a whole league of its own.

I don't care WHAT They put in the ps3 version as long as it isn't a more in depth rivals mode where more things are possible because if thats what they do I'll be extremely pissed off beyond belief.

I understood everything the ign reviewer was saying and I see the reason for what he said, BUT his comment about the blood was totally uncalled for and seemed almost bias.

The blood coming out of the fighter's mouth was never suppose to be as mindblowing as he's making it seem so he's being a BIT too critical in that regard I'd say.

What I get from IGN -- graphics are great and game mechanics are solid. Gameplay is great online and boring offline. If you are playing offline and are expecting a better experience (AI, commentary) and the graphics are not important, well, it is NOT a 9.

But if you are gonna play online and like graphics GET FNR3.

Sounds like a fair review.

Ps- The major difference I can see in the E3 footage and the 360 footage I have seen is the E3 footage shows more "waves" in the face and the ability to "tie up" the oppenent. Does the 360 have a "tie up" feature? Also, do some players get those rediculous waves? Maybe it was toned down because it did not look as good (I know the 360 has some face jelly, just curious if fatter boxers have more).

Anyone have a link to a free HD footage of the E3 PS3 footage?
