PS3

A trailer of Final Fantasy Versus XIII is also available on the Final Fantasy XIII demo Blu-Ray, and of course DjMizuhara captured and uploaded it.

Wow, Squeenix really doesn't want to reveal the characters voices :D
This scene, looks great, and reminds me the FFVIII Dance Scene.
Looking forward for Versus

I was a little disappointed by the FF verus XIII trailer on the BRD, because there wasn't any really new scene except for the image with the skyline and the chat between the main character and the woman was longer than in the last trailer (DKS3173)
But the good thing about this long chat is, that you can see much of the ingame-graphics of the game. The clothes and sharp textures remind me alot of MGS4, what is really good, because MGS4 is still the best looking thing that I have ever seen in my life. (Even now one year later after Killzone2 or GOW2)

The first part was the onlygreat one, second one was boring.

The first part was quite awesome, epic music track.

When can we see the first gameplay footage, or even a screenshot?
If this plays anything in real time combat, im there, time will tell.

Ok, im impressed with this one, so many nice effects in this rather simple scene, the thing that obviously stands out the most is the character models. Love the hair and clothing, rather than being static models they have a bit of life which adds a lot to any game.
Environment seemed a bit simple, until you get the reveal of the fish tank behind them.

Wanna see more, but out of the 2 titles this is possibly the more interresting one.

Uhm... are you talking about THIS video? There was no battle and no GUI, so no red button or anything. And btw. have you noticed the screen at the end saying: "For PlayStation 3 only wolrdwide" ?

And by the way, I think you mean the videos of the FFXIII demo. It was the circle button (PS3)

maybe it is simply because you dont understand japenese?
for me, the real time part is way more intruging.

Well I wanted to see more action scenes, not more romantic scenes so thats why I said the second part was boring.
And no, I don't understand japanese, however it doesn't take a genius to figure out they got a thing for eachother.
But it's all good.

If it's by Kingdom Hearts people, it'll be real-time. Or real-time with turn-based, like Eternal Sonata. I doubt versus XIII would be turn-based, but Square sure knows how to disappoint! :P

Lol. Square is being ass backwards about development so we won't know how the game plays for a couple of years. They choose to develop cutscenes and event scenes BEFORE designing the core gameplay (which is completely stupid).

hopefully it is realtime based. on the FFV13 wiki it also says TPS, which will be very interesting. either way versus looks like the game for me since i don't like turn based combat.

thanks for all the vids gamersyde. you are the best game video site!

can't wait to see gameplay for this...graphics in ffxiii are pretty much identical between the real time cutscenes and gameplay...if this can maintain that, then it will probably be the best looking game Ive seen...

You don't know what you are talking about :)

I actually think this will trump FF13 in terms of story telling, but I'm not a fan of realtime battle.

Hopefully they will nail the gameplay, if its anything as simplistic as Kingdom Hearts i'll be disappointed.

I don't know what I am talking about when I see something I think was great or bad?

There is gonna be 2 next-gen FF games coming out, one being turn based is what you should get if Versus turns out to be real time (which I hope), its a win win on both sides.
