PC Xbox 360 PS2 Xbox Gamecube

Activision and Neversoft released these two quite long videos from their western Xbox 360 launch title Gun. The videos are reencoded into one, and I guess the footage is from the Xbox 360 version.

Since we all know how crappy it looks, i'm going to say the gameplay is going to be aweful too, leaving us a horrible game not worth a penny.

The game might be fun, but the graphics are horrible, not to be forgotten that this is just a tuned up xbox version.

Whoa, ok so this looks shitty? Look at that horse, it looks quite good really, it could've been much worse, the hore could've looked all blocky and stuff, and those characters are nicely detailed too...no it's definitely not next-gen, but really....tell me, just cause you've seen PGR3 and Kameo movies (and more) and have seen how the visuals are, does it mean that games with MUCH less impressive graphics are gonna suck? This game looks like a lot of fun, looks like a winner to me.

Another publisher looking for a quick buck. What is up with this trend lately?

Well Moonwalker, you right. BUT this is next gen and why spend 400 dollars on a machin and then by a game that's just a bad styled version of a xbox game? But the game can still be good.

Big publishers such as EA and Activision are no longer video game firms, but investment firms. They have set dates for a title and will send the game out at that particular date even though some features are still being implemented or still on the drawing board. They'll release a follow-up sequel in the following year, and the year after, and the year after. So basically you're buying an unfinished product, which normally will take 3 years, but they have you pay three times for it by releasing it the very first year. The amazing thing is that EA and Activision have very good market researchers and their titles end up being in the top 10 selling titles.

For me it's all about gameplay, much more important than graphics, but judging by the videos the gameplay mechanics of this are pretty weak, which is a shame because I like the genre, hard to believe the last decent Western game was "Outlaws" :)
