PC Xbox 360 PS3

Pandemic is on a roll ! Here comes the first trailer - entirely in-engine - of Lord of the Rings: Conquest. Developed by the creators of the Star Wars Battlefront series, Conquest should offer the same type of gameplay in Middle-Earth. From what we see, it looks like we'll be able to play as Ents, or even Balrogs. Sounds good ! The game is planned to be released this fall on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Too bad this is in-engine and not in-game.

I hope they have a good combat system in place.

Hmm, looked to me like there were quite a few shots there that were from in-game...

I think you mean part 4. Part 3 came out on the PSP. But I'd prefer it if they try a different story like this rather than just sticking with something safe.

That's the only thing I can think about when I hear about this game, I really wish it was BF3...

If you had seen GTTV, you would know that all of that footage is in-game.

This is officially one of my most wanted titles this year, and not just because i'm a LOTR geek either. ;)

Like I said, if you watched the GTTV special on it, you would know that all of what was in the trailer is in-game. That's because they showed footage on GTTV and it looks exactly the same as in the trailer.

So hyped for this game. :D

Anyone who has a 360 with live and is planning to get this: We shall burn the Shire together!

And then after, you can be Frodo and I will beat you senseless as a Ringwraith. (:

Well, if you ever change your mind and buy the PC version, let me know, I'll be playing online there.

I don't know guys, this looks like a really stellar game. I mean, who doesn't want to play in huge battle scenes in Middle Earth?
