With the release this upcoming friday, EA released this trailer of Superman Returns presenting the character Bizarro. The demo seems to have surprised alot of people, and even though it has gotten mixed reviews I'm still eager to play it myself.
I loved the demo. I was really surprised it came out. I was going to buy this game and the demo only confirmed that i'm buying this game. I love the flying and sometimes you can do some cool stuff to the villains. Already did some nice combis mixed with some superpowers and when it all gets together, it looks great.
I think it all went downhill when superman couldnt stop saying "YOUR DAYS ARE OVER METALO!!!!" Close combat sucks big time, and why cant I throw people around?
bad combat? I don't know which demo you all played, but the combat was really good in the one I was playin'...once you take the time to actually find out what it will/won't let you do. I like the fact that you can mix and match moves/powers at any given time in any given combo. Maybe you couldn't figure it out?...or you just suck at it. oh well.
JoJO I totally agree with you. I played the demo like 10 times I just can't get enough of it. If you like Superman at all this is the game to beat and the Combat is awsome. It's amazing what one can learn reading the Moves List!
Just because some guy who probably doesn't like Superman that much gives it a low score doesn't mean that the game sucks. I love Superman and being able to control all the powers I want whenever I want makes me happy. I could care less who thinks the game sucks. I can truly say as a huge Superman fan this game is the game to get if you are a huge Superman fan.
The ENTIRE game is fighting small groups of random enemies and putting out fires to level up. Then you fight a boss. Then more groups.
Apparently ALL the cutscenes involve Lex Luthor and the plot from the movie but he NEVER shows up in the actual game and nothing from the movie is involved at all.
Where is the variety that made Spiderman and The Hulk so fun? Wanna know what the real kick in the teeth is? The last boss is..... A FRIGGIN TORNADO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EA shoved this out the door to tie in with the DVD/HD-DVD/Blu-ray release of the movie without a care for actual quality.
