Indeed. It had solid movement mechanics, solid level and objective design. It was essentially a modern Enemy Territory.
Bugs, bots, and a botched launch killed that game. There were certainly aspects of Brink worth saving. Hopefully we'll see them re-appear in Splash Damage's new F2P shooter.
Brink --- i can't equate with good because it got repetitive fast (but games are repetitive right) ... in any event it was missing the "all spark" to really make it special
I liked Enemy Territory. Well, the RtCW one, the Quake one... not so much. Any chance that ShootMania will be F2P too ? Is RAD Soldiers the F2P shooter you are referring to ? Looks like an Arcade title.

Ooooh, that looks nice, hope it's a little more original than all those CoD-clones, or let's say a little more old fashioned competitive FPS without the extra/super/hyper-bonus shit n stuff.
