Xbox 360

Microsoft released this english trailer of Project Sylpheed, and it's a quite good one at that. The demo is available on the Marketplace since a few days, and should help you guys get a better idea of what this game is all about.

Meh..It`s boring as hell as far as I`m concerned the the cut-scenes look extremely ugly!

iup, the cut scenes are SD or is it me? Really low quality. Tried the demo last nigh, still not sure if i liked, but felt mildly fun

Yeah, the cutscenes were so bad that I had to mock them loudly or risk losing my self respect. The gameplay was pretty decent though. It was like X-wing vs TIE fighter except with neon colors everywhere and a more condensed battle area. Also, you have more arcadey maneuvering options and speed control and ridiculously powerful weapons. It would probably be pretty fun if you took the time to get good at it.

The controls aren't pick up and play which tends to be a deal braker for me. I do like the production values though and still think this is an overall good step for SE on the 360. I'll definitely rent the game when it ships and the price, at less than 40 bucks, is a great value.
