Konami released this Proyakyu Spirits 3 trailer on the japanese Marketplace a few days ago, and I've just taken the time to capture it. I'd say it doesn't look bad, it's very well animated but some faces look a bit weird.
Whats sad is that Im more impressed with this game than MLB2k6. Watched the vid for 2k6 and it looks more last gen than anything. While this game may be missing the clothing movement and dust trails, etc(small stuff), it just looks more fun than 2k.
Also, wonder if there are going to be any MLB rejects in this game, guys that used to play in the states but can no longer make it here ala "Mr. Baseball".
The faces might not be the best, but it does look fun and better... much better ball physics over MLB2K6... I will not be getting a baseball game for a while...

As always, Konami games are in low res.
And I guess you guys aren't familiar with the way Konami puts together a trailer.
Yeah, they use the in-game engine and while it's not a cutscene, the animations are all scripted so they join perfectly with one another.
This makes it look a lot smoother than it really is.
And I know graphics and resolution don't determine how fun a game is, but again it is so disappointing that Konami's games never have that crisp, hi res look.
Low res? what are you talking about? Are you saying that it'll not be 720p when it's released? Cause that would suck, but i think your talking out your... you know what.
