Koch released this trailer of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, showing a gameplay segment of the High elf. The game is set to be released at the end of this month on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

That video looked quite good, its weird how this game can look good sometimes and really terrible at others.

I tried the PC demo a couple of weeks back and to be honest I wasn't that impressed by it. There's nothing particularly wrong with it, it's just that it doesn't do anything especially well and it feels, well, a bit uninspired. The level in the demo wasn't that interesting to explore and I soon got tired of constantly fighting off the same type of enemies every few steps.

It could work better on the consoles but, for me, it lacked the compulsive addictive factor of the old Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance games on the last gen consoles and that's what this game reminded me of.

PC version is getting a PhysX patch some time soon, if you have the hardware (ie. a decent nVidia card) then I would look at getting that version.

Yeah, i seen some pictures looked nice. I seen the game other day at good price, might buy it.

I wanted to like it, but just couldn't get into it. Perhaps I would feel more comfortable with it on a console, but unless they put up a demo for it, I doubt I'll be given it a try.

Ugh. This game's engine is so ugly. Its not bad tech wise, but it looks like someone just learned how to do modeling and stuff. The Lighting is omnipresent, the shaders are terrible, etc etc etc.
