Shin Sangoku Musou 5 (Dynasty Warriors 6), whose Xbox 360 version has just been announced, has been unveiled a bit more via this first trailer. It seems as mindless as ever, but at least it looks a bit more like a game worthy of a PS3 or a 360 than Omega Force's previous titles.

Edit: Woah! Crazy new special moves, vastly improved draw distance and the ability to traverse new areas/levels, nice! Gundam sort of made Orochi seem a bit stuffy, but this is totally the real next step for the franchise.
Gmulis; the normal enemies are mostly just a "force" that you fight through. The real challenge is getting to the captains with enough life to not get raped by them. There are more challenging units later on, but mostly, you wouldn't want the basic enemies to be too tough.
It really is the Doom/Painkiller/Serious Sam mentality here with numbers instead of brains, and it's wild chaotic, hypnotic fun.
