While we are still waiting for a release date for Sony's big racing machine, Milestone is preparing a sequel to Superstars V8 Racing, a game that was released in June 2009 in Europe. Entitled Superstars V8 Next Challenge, this sequel will feature 16 players online races, a full damage system and changing weather conditions. The game obviously does not shoot for the stars but it could be a lot of fun to play provided the physics engine offers good driving sensations. Graphics-wise at least, the game seems pretty solid, which is a good start.

But that's about as far as it goes; it'll be hard for them to fit in with the two big contenders, F3; GT5.

But when it's raining the game can look really good (and asphalt has normal grey colors). For me rain effects are really good in this game, especially when watching closely how water is splahing on the road (on other hand the rain is splashing only on car windows, rest of car is completly dry but nevermind). Maybe there will be similiar situation with V8 Next Challenge. For me only thing that was really nice in this trailer was wet road after rain.
I checked in the past only first V8 game demo (on my friend X360) for few minutes. And yes, You're right about driving (that's why I never bought V8 on PS3 after checking it and still have Ferrari Challenge).
