Sega and Plantinum Games are finally showing Vanquish, Shinji Mikami's new game, in motion with this first gameplay trailer. Look like it will be even faster then anticipated. Update: 3 new screens added.

Agreed, that one line of poorly incorporated dialogue really didn`t do the trailer any favours for me either lol, but non the less, the rest of it looked mighty fine!
To be honest, it`s kinda strange, as the one game that sprang to my mind when I first started to watch this, was Zone Of The Enders, (dunno why though).
I think that the music, pace and the robotic-esque combat suits made me instantly think of it.
Anyway, it looks good, but I`ll wait to see what else comes in the near future.
I dunno why, but the youtube footage has me alittle bit weary. I get abit of a lostplanet vibe... i really hope it controls well..especially the cover system
This will compete directly with Bayonetta and RDR for GOTY I mean look at that hit detection man,Japanese Devs are teh freaking best at that.crazy hand to hand combat,awesome shooting?

Judging from the videos it's another cover based shooter. I like the visuals a lot but the too-fast action and animation kinda sucks. If it feels good though, that's the important thing. I need to play it
