A few days away from the american release of Turok on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, planned for February 8 2008 (Europe), we have these new gameplay images to share with you. Please note that the PC build will be available only later in the spring of 2008. After the ugly screens from a few days ago, the quality still isn't there in my opinion, and it's a deception. Am I too greedy?

So I promised.
True story.
But hey to people who enjoy it: Great, have a blast.
Granted, some textures were off, but that's mainly due to the terrible Unreal 3 engine (yes, I said terrible.Shock horror, gasp and all that bollox. it's now a very dated engine and overrated) which tends to render blocky parallex mapped textures. As for colors, hey- it's a jungle so browns and greens are the norm. Shadows, once again Unreal Engine 3 is shit at self shadowing, but nothing was terrible in the demo as far as that goes.
The dino's, it has to be said, are stunning to look at. The artists and animators done a excellent job on them and could be the redeeming feature for this game. Facing off against a T-Rex would be as exciting as it first was in the original Turok, if not more so.
My only complaint was that the controls are a little stiff. I probably wouldn't pay full price for it but I thought it was really quite fun.
Also I found nothing wrong with the controls. I'll probably be buying this.
It's just your average FPS with a few dino's thrown into the equation. And even that is handled poorly. This game is horrible.
