The Witcher 3: Wild Hunts just received its 1.05 update on console so we had to take geralt back to the swamps to see how he could handle a little storm in this demanding area. We'll start with the PS4 version but as you'll see, there still is no triple buffering on Sony's console, but we reckon it was not planned for this patch. Maybe next time? Our Xbox One video shouldn't be too long to come so be a little patient.
Update: Xbox One video added.

In fact, PS4 and Xbox One games should use dynamic scaling more often, since it allows performance to be maintained IMO.
As for PS4, x1 in this game. Some scenes with more going on are 30fps. Obviously there are still bugs in the game.
Others comparing consoles to pc.
PC is whatever you have in your rig, all rigs are different and perform differently.
I game on both and enjoy both.
I'm currently considering to switch to PC for selected multiplatform games since I saw a video on youtube where an under-400$ gaming PC was able to handle this game at framerates of 35-50fps with even higher settings turned on. It was shocking.
Still, it's great to see that the devs are constantly trying to enhance the console performance by providing patches.

They all need to stop focusing on dlc and start actually making sure the main game is fully polished, working, and stable, before release.
And as for dynamic res. the GAME is 900p. Cutscenes and the start menu are 1080p
"Meanwhile, the promised 'dynamic resolution' solution on Xbox One doesn't appear to hit the 1080p target in any of our samples. Instead, for the most part the game renders at 1600x900, with only video cut-scenes providing true 1080p output for any noticeable length of time"
I really don't know why the devs were even talking about that feature if it was going to be incorporated like that.
