I can see some visual upgrades compared to the base game but i really hope they don't mess up the framerate on consoles again. It took them 6 months to make the framerate stable with the base graphics.

In an interview, CDPR said they not only improved the graphics but also the framerate and we should expect a pretty stable 30fps on consoles.

Yeah in the interview they also said that this was all possible because of a new region they've created from scratch, therefore the visual upgrades and optimizations were possible. They learned a lot from base game how to properly use the consoles power. So you can hope for the best, but PC is the best way to enjoy this fully =))

I hope its true... I wish i had a powerful pc but i am satisfied enough with the ps4 version after they patched it a bunch of times.

And to answer your question, the new area is as big as Novigrad, and containts 30 new weapons, 20 new monsters, 90 quests and 40 "points of interest."
