Xbox 360

Love Football had "impressed" a lot of people last month when new images had been released. It's now back with these 2 videos. I'll let you guys be the judge.

i am impressed, really !

all the animations are pretty cool. i love the tricks theyve implented. its like a soft version of fifa street :D
and compared to fifa id rather play this game than fifa, but thats just my opinion :)

but i guess theres no chance that this game will be released in europe ?

What Part of the world would be more right for a football game then Europe? America doesn't even understand that the name is Football, not soccer.

The only thing that could save this is 22+ player online matches with everyone assuming the role of a player (and possibly a manager/substitutes)

Visually it's a mess and has nothing to do with the 360 and everything to do with Namco

Actually looks like a fun game. To me, football games have always been slow and boring. This looks to be more exciting and much more immersive.

Stop showing us this game...please for the love of god!
Okey, seriously, I think this game looks so awful, I mean it might handle like a dream, but with graphics THIS bad, in a game that has focus on little else except the football playing, this is weak. A game like Final Fantasy XI can be forgiven due to a couple of reasons like its massive"ness" and what it has so much else to offer, but this? There is no excuse for the horrid graphics.

wtf? please tell me this is sarcasm.
Why did they have to show that attrocity to the press, the japanese fanboys will have a field day. I feel sorry for the people who actually owned both Xbox and 360 consoles.
Blim stop showing this mess, it's sticking up the 360 lol

People are overreacting quite a bit. This game will graphically be a hit come release is what I strongly believe.

This game is actually going to be a major hit is what I think come its completion because soccer is a very big deal whether you love it or hate it and if this game's graphics are superb and the gameplay is amazing this will cause ALOT of soccer fans to get a 360 and believe me soccer is the most played sport worldwide. So even if this isn't your type of game pray it succeeds because I'd like to see microsoft hit their 5.5 million mark by june.

Soccer IS the most played game worldwide but this Namco dev team obviously don't watch it or participate in it because I don't ever recall seeing reflections on players shirts or shorts and crowds full of identically dressed catatonic clones! :)

those shots reeally don't look that great. By the way did anyone hear like DMC4 might be coming to the 360, and the director for the game also said that the graphics in the cg trailers; would be "at least" the minumum bar for what the real game will look like.

Mmmmmmm, if eouropean or asian football is gay, how do you explain that here in the US we call fotball a game in which rarely the foot actually touches the ball. Kickoffs and field goals. Thats it. Here, it should be called handball....

I think there's quite a bunch of morons in the US, I mean, we dont use Kilometers meters and centimeters, What? NO, we cant have the same metric system all of the other countries do! Of course not! we will use miles, yards and feet.
Degrees Celsius??? Hell no, lets make it Fahrenheit!. I'm surprised we haven't made a different measurement of time. 24 hours a day!? that's blatant!, lets make it 12!

Konami already pwns all when it comes to Soccer games. Namco should really bring it if they even hope place a dent in the number Winning Eleven/Pro Evolution fanboys in Japan. Thankfully, 360 is getting the next pro evolution/winning eleven.

From the pictures I wasnt wasnt impressed out all, but now that I see it in motion I completely understand what they're aiming for. This game has alot of potential, and I no longer care if the graphics aren't next gen.
However it does seem a little confusing as your view doesn't change should the ball be lobbed over to you, it goes out of view and you can only track the shadow.

hehe I love the offside line!

Graphics mean nothing. If you've been gaming for a while, you probably own a lot of games that once looked good but look like crap today. Are they still fun though? That's the question. If you're spending $60 on a game just because it looks real, you've just wasted $60. That said, I think Love Football will be worth the investment.

That's a pretty poor validation for a supposedly "next-gen" experience. Namco have tried and failed miserably TWICE already at this type of "control only one player" game with Libero Grande 1+2. The cynic in me sees this as a quick cash-in during World Cup year on a system that only has one soccer game already, they are trying to get in before Winning Eleven is shown.

people go on about realism too much.. so long as the game has solid gameplay, solid graphics, and runs at a solid 60fps thats all i care about, this looks very promising, its about time a games company tried this 1player control aspect in a football game..

People who go on about reflections on players shirts?? wtf? have lost the plot.

1-The camera is not convincing me yet.
2-The graphics are simply horrible.
3-The computer AI--on both sides--is horrible.

1-The animations are ok.
2-The dribbling/tricks are awesome, the variety is huge, something WE/PES is missing!
3-Shooting with that camera angle seems very satisfying.

*I don't think this game has much going for it.
