UC The Lost Legacy is back

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy returns on Gamersyde, with the 4K and 4K/HDR footage you may have already seen by mistake, and some additional gameplay sequences. After completing the game, we can say the experience is somewhat a condensed version of Uncharted 4, which reminds of the old formula most of the time. There is one big area giving a bit more freedom to explore than in UC4, but the rest of the adventure remains more linear, along the lines of UC2 and 3. Provided you don't expect something completely fresh from this new episode, you should be content with what The Lost Legacy has to offer. If you've had enough already with the previous games, then you'll probably want to pass. Choose your side!

It looks gorgeous graphically. Not quite on the level of Horizon Zero Dawn, but still impressive all the same.

The main issue seems to be that its basically more Uncharted 4 which is to be expected since this is essentially a dlc that they turned into a full game with only 1 year of development. Some big new features would have be great though.

Its great when review embargos lift days before release as it shows confidence but it really sucks having to wait for so long when there is a ton of info out there

that's perfectly fine with me. U4 is my favorite uncharted. and as you say, no matter how they sell it the game is still ultimately an uncharted 4 expansion.

Man this game looks amazing, feels like it packs more detail than even Horizon. TLOU 2 is gonna be crazy at this rate.

I say the character models are way more detailed in Uncharted Lost Legacy, but when it comes to the environment, particularly with the foliage and lighting....Horizon Zero Dawn blows it out of the water. Seeing it on a 4K screen with HDR10 is Godtier. Note: I'm judging Uncharted Lost Legacy from it's trailers and gameplay.

If only Tomb Raider had not tried to mimic Uncharted, it would still have a soul and it would actually still be Tomb Raider. I really hope they can go back to what Tomb Raider truly was in its best moments.

They tried in that last one but since they made it all optional, most people skipped it (including me).

I played Horizon on a 65"ZD9 and yes it looked insane but wouldn't say it blows LL out of the water. The former does scale much better while the latter goes insane on incidental details. I haven't played LL yet so I'll reserve final judgement till I'm thoroughly done with it :). Both look to be the best graphics ever on consoles if not on all platforms I'd say.

Don't forget that Horizon Zero Dawn has even more engine intensive things going on too like full day to night cycles and dynamic shadows and weather. In Uncharted this is fixed or baked as they call it.

That interview that Neil Druckman did with the head of Guerilla Games was very interesting around the launch of Horizon. ND are probably already fine tuning their engine for something more like Horizon Zero Dawn and going back to an open world style like their engine did in the PS2 era with their Jak games.

This will probably apply to whatever they will do next gen after the release of TLOU Part II.

The series needs a long long sleep. Infact after U4 it should of finished.

ND showed what they were capable of wiyh U2 and TLOU they need something new again.
