Interesting. Good approach.

I loved beeing the goal keeper in NHL'95 on SNES.
I cant remember having played a sports game since than that allows you to control the keeper...

I will play as a Keeper online. Sounds really Interesting and looks cool but also seems hard to Master. The new "Game View" Camera is nice too.

I think if you are going to have online matches with a human goalkeeper, plenty of goals will follow which won't be a nice experience. And, what also happens a lot of times, is that you'll have people just trying to ruining everything by always running out of place,... I bet people who want to ruin the match will just pick the goalkeeper and always run away from their goal.

I reckon' this mode will be good offline, but will get abused online. Just my 2c.

To be honest, that can be said for the Be A Pro mode in general; it works fantastically well in singleplayer, but not so much online. You get too many people hogging the ball in an attempt to steal all the glory, while most of the time you'll find your centre-backs at the other end of the pitch.

That's not to say that it isn't ridiculously fun though, and I'm sure the same can be said for Be A Goalkeeper.

I agree, that's why I find the 'Clubs' addition perfect. It makes people actually follow the rules and play as a winger or striker instead of running all over the place. Teamwork is a very important factor to me, not only in FIFA but also in shooters.

i Played about 70 Online Team Matches in FIFA 10 and i must say that most of them where actually good to play with only some guys doing shit. Communication is realy Important in this mode and you need a position which you really like to play. I prefer midfielders because of the mix of defence and offence work. But you can be sure that EA has noticed the Goaly Problem and they wont let you come out of your 16meters square without a player running alone on your Goal. Otherwise you mus be in this Area. I think Goalies will be uninteresting for the most Players like Defenders
