Sony and Naughty Dog have revealed the main antagonist of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception through a cut-scene trailer and some screenshots. Named Katherine Marlowe, she and her agents will try to foil Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan.
Argh, this is the last video I'll watch, this is the last video I'll watch, this is the last video I'll watch, this is the last video I'll watch, this is the last video I'll watch...
the engine start to sseem a little bit outdated&familiar by now, in uncharted 2008-2011 standards, but still a really good looking piece of ass by any gaming standards. But in hindsight, its a pre-rendered cutscene.

it's a pre-rendered in engine cutscene using only in-game assets. Just like the other 2 uncharted games, there is no leap in visual quality from cutscene to gameplay.

Well the cutscene looks generic as hell, but as pointed out it doesn't mean anything at all.
how so? i'd love to hear why...lol
you seen a lot of games where a woman in her 60's intimidates 2 men who have survived countless situations and fights? it can't be the characters, since they're A-typical for videogames. possibley the back ally setting? if so how can a setting in a cutscene make the entire cutscene generic? do you hear that sort of dialogue a lot in games?
Kinda wish they backed away from the cliches of Indy Jones and other pulp stuff, and made some unique characters or stories. This franchise is a great homage, but really uninspired.

Ugh, how am I supposed to hate such a nice-looking villain? I bet Drake, the stud he is, will probably get it on with her as well!
you into the old ones eh? like a bit of wrinkly old fann....anyway...game looks stunning. bullshots tho, but still. we've seen it in motion and it already looks head and shoulders above everything else released this year. i really do feel sorry for guerrilla games tho...they hold the crown for such a short amount of time.

so, duck tales > Indiana > Uncharted ? can become a little derivative by now, but hardly uninspired... it a good ground to work on. If only there were more games with this kind of setting and less Modern Warfare clones.

Exactly. Frankly Uncharted, for me, is a nice break from FPS after FPS (no matter how great they are, it does get tedious after a while) and it's nice to see a game with an emphasis on production values and storyline, whilst also being action packed and fun :)

Haha, nice, but there's really no argument. Just listed a bunch of sources proving you wrong. 'Argument' settled, fact proven, all's good :)

Looks generic as hell, ND should definitly stick to jungles, there is where they show their awesome talent.
Mind pointing out how it looks generic? Because, while I agree the cockney thugs appear straight out of any London Gangster movie, thats hardly unexpected. Uncharted builds on cliches, but has a nice sense of adventure and light sense of humour which still manages to be refreshing.
If you are talking about the visual direction though, you are crazy. Its about as ambient as you can make a dingy back alley. Hardly the sort of place to take in the sights, don't you think?
Just registered to say: Wow. This Uncharted video, probably the best game media this site has had in months (Im a lurker) gets rated 2/5? The rest of the world is amazed by this and really looking forward to what is a sequel to easily one of the best games this gen, and some trolls here downvote it because they're jealous? Lol.

It makes it predictable. If you've seen any number of movies, every single piece of dialogue from this cutscene is cliche. You can still emulate movies, and have your own style, but Uncharted's presentation I don't think has that. Oh wait, I forgot about half-tucked :P

Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
