In this week's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon", the first live gameplay sequence of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception was shown to the world but the quality was of course not that great. Thankfully, your patience is about to be rewarded, since we finally managed to find the video in 720p and we gave it our homemade encoding treatment. Enjoy!

Also around that period many great games will be released.

Tomb Raider

are just 2 of them. If both deliver what they promise, then Uncharted better be one heck of a game to earn that GOTY.

Games like Diablo 3, Elder Scroll Skyrim (not Oblivion LOL), Crysis 2, Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3...etc. will be amazing, Uncharted 3 has some serious competition, wont be easy :)

I thought games were about good gameplay and having fun. But for some people clearly they are for competition. lol. Anyway pretty nice gameplay. The only place where this game fails imo. is that it takes too many bullets too kill enemy. They should make more good puzzles and less, but more realistic fight. Thats my opinion.

This. They make the guns feel like bb guns when it take 10 or more shots to take down an enemy. Totally agree about making more puzzles and platforming, slightly less combat, and making the combat more lethal. Would LOVE a game like this with 1-2 shot kills. Would be so much more intense. I am hoping that the Tomb Raider reboot (with its focus on mature, realistic gameplay) will go this route.

Anyway, I think what people are saying about the other great games coming out, is that UC3 can't just be UC2 in a new setting if they want to compete. With ESV, new Tomb Raider, ME3, KZ3, etc, etc, coming out, they need to do something REALLY special to stand out, and I totally agree! This demo (while pretty), did not scream game of the year to me.

Anyway, I think what people are saying about the other great games coming out, is that UC3 can't just be UC2 in a new setting if they want to compete. based on the quality of U2, then i i dont imagine anything will touch this game. but there is a lot of great games coming next year so who knows. chances are high that it'll be MY GOTY tho, and no doubt by quite a large margin. but then U2 is the most polished, fun game i've played.

looks stunning tho. can't wait. question is, will the the third in the series be able to surpass the almost perfect second game? it's asking a hell of a lot, but if anyone can do it, ND can.

you'll probably get that too tbh. it's a globe trotting adventure remember. if you think they're going to remain in one place after U2 then you're mistaken

Now this footage shows the game is clearly cleaner than U2, and effects etc have been taken up a notch...however, fire needs to be more interactive if they want to deliver a greater sense of urgency

U2 was a far better game to me than Oblivion or any Tomb raider game...they have alot to prove...Uncharted doesn't in my opinion. U2 was the best game I have played this gen bar none.

absoultely amazing. got a really high quality one playing on my PS3, very clean, flawless framerate it all just looks so good and this is still a year away

wait...did he say "can't see a thing"? the were loads of fire, therefor there was light, aparently there wasn't any smoke or enough to be noticed..how come he says "can't see a thing" oh well guess ps3fanboys don't care.

it reminds me of a lot of games tbh. "building on fire" isnt really an original concept...lol, but i sure havnt seen it look so nice before.

@reyals - the ramp he moves to which alows him to progress is only visible when he moves close to it. hence smoke, hence low visibility, hence "can't see a thing".

Ever seen a movie where a character uses a smoke screen to escape and you're like "WHY THE FCK CAN'T THEY SEE HIM/HER? I CAN!". Yeah well. Or ever been inside a burning house?

Though, it would be fun to play from a first-person pov and not really see a damn thing through the smoke. I'm sure the other fanboys will still be able to find some flaws with that though.
