Square Enix has announced that Nippon Ichi Software's Disgaea 3 will be released in Europe on the 20th of February. A bunch of images can be found inside.
Square Enix press release:
Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announces that Nippon Ichi Software’s Disgaea®3: Absence of Justice will be released by Square Enix across PAL territories on 20th February 2009 exclusively on the PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) computer entertainment system.
Welcome to the twisted world of the Nether Institute, Evil Academy where good is bad and bad is good. In this school a good student is somebody that excels in delinquent activities such as skipping classes or not doing their homework, whereas a bad student arrives to school early and does their homework on time.
This is the setting for Disgaea3, a rich and deep Strategic RPG that’s not afraid to display a very bizarre sense of humour. It’s a winning combination that will leave you laughing one minute and fighting cunning enemies the next. Where special attacks can deliver up to 100 million points worth of damage and the power of the PS3 is used to deliver 2D sprites, albeit lots of them!
John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, “With Disgaea3, Nippon Ichi have created a wonderful world full of bizarre characters and deep, addictive gameplay. I hope everyone enjoys playing this unique and rewarding title.”

Next step for SE is to announce the european release date for Persona 4.
Game looks really bad visually but may be worth a rental, they should have published it over PSN IMO, can't image the game is that big prob 2-3 gbs.

You couldn't possibly appreciate this game with a rental. It's a 100+ hour title.
I've had the US import of this for months and it's fantastic. The writing is absolutely hilarious and the visuals look fine in game as mostly they're zoomed out. It actually runs in 1080p believe it or not, and at 60fps. Plus of course the battle system is one of the best around with tons of depth.
Icing on the cake - you can have the original Japanese voice cast throughout. No horrible dubbing ruining things as it did with Persona 4.
