Square-Enix has finally unveiled the new release date for MindJack, after its recent delay. The game will hit the PAL territories' stores on January 21st, on PS3 and Xbox 360. Till then, here are a new trailer and some new images.
Enter the futuristic world of MINDJACK on the Xbox360 and PS3 on the 21st January 2011 and experience mind bending action like you have never seen before.
Square Enix’s new near-future Third Person Action-Shooter offers a unique gameplay experience where players can hack into a host game as an ally or enemy and then hack into the mind of any soldier, civilian, mechanical bionic creature or weaponry.
Set in AD 2031 when governments no longer govern, MINDJACK features an incredibly immersive storyline at a time when technology has been created that can control minds. But who is in control, what do they want and most importantly, who can you trust?
MINDJACK will be released on the Xbox360 and PS3 on the 21st January 2011.
Features
· Assume the role of a Mind Hacker hacking into and controlling the minds of enemies to turn the tide of battle.
· Acquire XP to expand your hacker’s Arts abilities. Increase a character’s strength or improve your hit-rate – players can strategize according to their combat style.
· Hack or be hacked! Players can slowly alter their gaming universe – or have it altered by other online players – one hack at a time.
· Utilize futuristic weapons and real fighting techniques, like Krav Maga, in your virtual playground.

That last part of the trailer, the only part that looks like a single-player segment and not this Lost Planet 2 co-op/multiplayer bullcrap, has a little of resident evil 4 going.
Stick to RPG's SE, although something tells me SE didn't develop this.

i personally wont be touching it tho.
I'm not arguing that this probably won't do especially well sales wise, but then again i don't think that has much bearing on if it will be a fun game. Also, i'm not saying that i think it will be good. All i'm arguing for is not looking at it and deciding that it's crap just because of the visuals and before you at least read an actual review from a trusted reviewer or try a demo.
This generation is created some fucking awful gamers, I dread to think what the next one is guna be like.
