If you don't know it yet, no one can beat MorphBZH when it comes to driving games. Not only is he the best pilot in the team, he's also quite the handy man as he has managed to build his own handbrake to play DiRT Rally in the best possible conditions. The following video is the proof that he's not too bad behind a wheel. What do you think?

What wheel and in game setting you have? Can you post screenshot?
For each button, I just solder 2 wires (ground & signal) on PCB. When you make wires contact together (with a screw), each button is on.
For this handbrake, one button was needed. It's not analog signal.
You can use a potentiometer like the thumbstick to make the handbrake analog.
This is the first version, I made it smaller :

The wheel is a DFGT.
For settings, these are defaults one. For now, I didn't manage them to get better FFB.
I only tried Seat Ibiza from the last pack. Default car settings were bad, use those recommended in the menu before each race. The feeling is now great.

No replay sorry, I pushed the wrong button :/ I won't forget next time to record it.
And for the last question ;) No race in real life (expensive dream), only karting when I can.
You'd think there would be a much simpler solution by now with some 3rd party making these things to sell and just work out of the box. I suppose the lack of proper rally sims is responsible for that.
Nice driving, BTW. Having played this game, I know how difficult it can be.
