Xbox 360

After a rather terrible E3 Too Human had more or less disappeared, but it looks like the developers at Silicon Knights finally got around all their technical issues and will most likely unveil the game again at the GDC in March. Meanwhile, here is a brand new screenshot of the game, captured directly from a debug 360 without any render/photoshop magic.

I think it looks worse than before . Is that because they used render/photoshop magic earlier?

The previous pictures were touched up a lot more than this. This image provides a more honest view of what we will actually see when we play it and I think it looks great. One problem with the UE3 engine is that a lot of architecture can end up looking very similar to GOW. Games like Stranglehold dont suffer from this as much because it is set in a more contemporary time frame.

the fact that you attack with the right analog stick just ruins the game for me...

Wait to see how the analog stick turns out in the final game before you start commenting on them. Only issue I have with them so far is the jump button is mapped to something like X.

Personally I love how Baldur looks in that shot, and I'm liking the detail in the environment, I've got nothing against slabs of stone looking like GoW's given ruined slabs of stone tend to look the same ;) Though i wonder what's the deal with all the bio-organic looking roots.

Looks awesome, I can't wait for this game to shut the haters up.
If the final game looks anything like this with a stable framerate I'll be happy.

Thats what they get for showing an amazing trailer and then coming out with what they did on E3.

Amazing art direction and detail. The whole technology vs world combined with mythology is really quite awesome, and Baldur's character design is wonderful. If the game looks like this when I'm playing it I'll be damned impressed. Can't wait to see it in motion because the animations are supposedly amazing. (hopefully very different than E3) Also, props to Denis Dyack for wrestling, its the hardest sport out there (finishing my season on Saturday(yay)) For anyone complaining about the art direction (which is awesome), there are sections of the game that are completely organic such as this:
Also, blimblim, we're gonna see too human in february (first half of the month), so its closer than you think.

Graphical it looks like it's on the same level as GeOw if not even better, the textures in the distance look very crisp, way crisper then in GeOW.

About the jaggies thats just because of a bad picture, there was plenty GeOW pictures that had awful jaggies so dont be suprised if it looks way better in motion.

There's no denying the game looks great, but will it play great? Will the animations be great? If it's the same as it was at E3, that'll be a resounding NO but I really hope they've used the time up until now to totally revamp it.

I agree with you that it looks very good, but I wouldn't say Mass Effect looks better nor the other way around, I'd say they are very comparable.

Wth is wrong with your eyes these days???

That screencapture looks great. Very simliar to GoW in visual feeling, so to speak.

I still have faith in Silcon knights and hope they will deliver a compelling and unique game experience... Seems like we'll be treated with some grandious locations... cool stuff.. Can't wait to see more from it come this march...

Technically - great detail considering the scale. But tell me one thing that is original about the art style, as I think it's totally generic sci-fi fantasy.

I've gotta see this game in motion before I make up my mind about any improvements or not.
This game had so much wrong with, and the graphics we're it's least problem.

Let's see that "amazing" camera system function properly, let's see some atleast somewhat decent animations, let's see some more intelligent AI, let's see some more spectactular "power-moves" instead of just that one, let's see some better framerate, let's hear some better sounds etc, and I might be convinced.

And people please, stop this "haters" nonsense.
All the critisism SK received for Too Human's E3 showing was perfectly valid, and it's perfectly acceptable for people to be sceptical at this point.

Unbelievable how one silly previewer at IGN and one screenshot can convince people of this game, really makes you wonder about some people...

None of the games in this genre are particularly original as far as story and art go. The idea that Nordic mythology is not only realy but in fact based on technology far exceeding our own that was lost in the mists of time is extremely interesting though.
