I think it is pretty sad that they are able to rerelease the same game time and again just changing some tracks and the subject and are successful with it.

My thoughts exactly.

Though, at this point i really think fans would go crazy if they didn't get at least two new GH games a year. In fact, that's how i think it should stay. I mean, if they are not taking their time to improve the game, at least they should give us enough content for half a year worth of fun.

even though i dont like activision blatant milking of this franchise with seemingly pointless retail addition, especially considering they could release a track list and character skin over PSN and XBL and have the same effect....i do kinda like that they release so many of these at retail, becasue this way i can just rent them and they dont get a dime...lol

What's the difference between releasing a game like this and releasing songs as DLC???

NOTHING! The only downside is if you can't import the tracks onto the hDD to play in GH4/5. But hey, I don't mind switching disks if I can play the songs I like.

Nope that will be the "Oasis Edition" of Guitar Hero, and it will have a Vampire Alcoholic mode.

if it was just a track list it would be cheaper, since all the assets etc wouldnt be needed. but then that is why activision do it, to rake in the moolah.
