Images Xbox 360 PS3

Platinum Games and Sega has just put online the first screenshots of the next game from Shinji Mikami, Vanquish. Many players thought the game would be a FPS, as you see it's not. The game will be out this winter for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

LOOKS cool. I hope the controls stack up (Japanese devs don't seem to have a good grip on controls in these sorts of games)..

I'm liking... I'm liking a lot. It's got a cool, gritty vibe to it.

Nice use of motion blur as well.

This game is going to be big. Third Person Shooter action + heavy close range combat along with boss battles that approach action games -- made by the people that brought us Bayonetta? Oh god :o

Generic game looks generic. Maybe they weirded out too much with previous titles, they decided to actually cater to Americans. Too bad I hate Gears.

Fortunately, "very average graphics" tend to be quite good....or at least that's the impression I get OF the average considering the number of times people say a game's graphics are average. Average graphics I can live with.

good lord don't even get me started on how amazing a 3D shadow complex would be! hands down my fav arcade game and it really did capture the magic of the metroid games with a darker tone.

I really have no idea what to think of this. Bayo was a masterpiece in terms of gameplay so maybe they'll strike gold twice in a row.

and I agree, average graphics are usually just fine for most games.

Gears + Halo + Lost Planet. Looks good.

Gang Starr. STFU. It looks way above average. Don't be a nitpicky little boy.

Looks amazing, like Gears with an artstyle I much prefer...according to IGN's eyes on it is also very fast paced and the armor suit gives you abilities like a very cool boost move.

Perhaps because it's going on 5 years old? That being said, who says it can't do it? It would probably just destroy performance, though. The ONLY game I've seen with really great and accurate motion blur is Crysis, and that has a big effect even on my rig, and I can play it on very high settings...
