Xbox 360 PS3

Electronic Arts sent us a new video of its cooperative videogame Army Of Two, to be released in the first quarter of 2008 for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It is a compilation of some cinematics from the full version.

Mehh, I haven't seen one EA game showcasing realtime gameplay, like a short mission. Most developers do that, Mass Effect and Assasins Creed does and they're AAA titels. Prerendered gfx and sceens that show no gameplay don't grow on me, videos like that one are just there people who think: Omg, that is soo cool. And don't know that it won't look like that and certainly never will play like that.

Best example is NFS:PS, untill the demo was out I've never seen gameplay and now that it's out it turns out that the gameplay is shit.

They act more like superhero soldiers than your non-super hero soldiers.
Anyway, cool CG.

that's exactly what you could call EA's targeted demographic.

Is it me, or have they just "TOTALLY RUINED!" the mysticism surrounding the identity of the characters by letting that blokey remove his face mask !???. WTF E.A ?, do you not learn anything from listening to us Halo fans?. The masks should`ve remained on, as now the whole thing is blown!. I know that they were human, but come on, do we really have to see some dodgy bloke that looks like my next door bloody neighbour?. "AAAAAARRRRGGH!".

I really dont see the point in CG anymore, atleast not for this game, what they've shown us recently looked awful, spend more time on ingame videos rather then wasting time and money on CG.

There have been numerous trailer with them without their masks. Also, CGI trailers are easy to get across what is in the product and where it might be. It's a lot easier to transition what is going to be there in a pre-rendered vid rather then slicing some gameplay videos together.

Im still not impressed by this game, the gameplay video looked like a oversimplified arcade shooter, and all the cg is just cheesy and embarrassing.

We get it EA, you've spent lots of money on the cut-scenes. Any chance of actually seeing footage of the game being played, considering how soon the game is due to be released?
