this game however has really nice building destruction, but thats about as far as it goes. would have been nice to make tunnels through solid rock again.
I really liked the multiplayer beta though (which actually looked prettier than this), single player... i was expecting more from, i was expecting it to be somewhere close to the awesome mock screens they released of it.

I don't say that RF : Guerilla is bad, but I found it less impressive. I was far more impressed by Lucasart's Fracture.
The open world looks cool, But it seems that only parts of buildings and few elements of the environment are destructible....But not the " all map ".

Having played both original titles in the series, I do not think that fans of those are going to like this one too much - it's very different and I know how people hate change. However, I think fans of openworld games are going to love this. It's not everyday you get to play in a sci-fi sandbox, and definitely not everyday you get to play in one so well constructed.
I especially love Geomods 2.0. You can take that damned hammer through pretty much everything except terrain. Came in very handy the second time through, when I went after the walker on foot. The hangar housing the walker was too heavily guarded from the front when I came through this time. So I used the hammer to plow me a hole through an unguarded side of the hangar and began to open a can of whoopass with the walker, once I got inside and busted out with it.
I'm really loving what they are doing with Geomods 2.0, and hope this tech finds its way into Saints Row 3; I know the director for that game stated there were some major changes coming to the series with Saints Row 3, and those changes could very well be the inclusion of Geomods 2.0, plus relevant game play to maximize use of the engine . . . and who knows, maybe they will even give us another FreeSpace and another Summoner this gen, using this tech.
I was already liking this game after I got into the multiplayer beta on LIVE last fall. I think they've made some nice improvements to the formula since, and am really loving it now. June 6 can't come quick enough.
EDIT - I just watched the video of the PS3 version that DjMizuhara supplied. Is it me, or do all the graphics looked washed out compared to the 360 version? In a day when more and more developers are getting almost pixel perfect performance across both platforms, it's very odd to actually find a multi-console game that looks markedly better on one console than the other. Weird.
Can anyone else confirm this?

I love the demo! but if you have FullHD set, you need to set the PS3 to 720p because RF ist standard scaled to 1080p and has lots of tearing. its much better in 720p (better framerate and less tearing).
why did DJ never show the coversystem and the ultracool aiming sight with depth of field?
