Sony and Walmart release a new gameplay video (with developer commentary, if I'm not mistaken) of LittleBigPlanet. As pleasing as ever.

I'm curious, do things like those ghosts inflict damage on you? Giving you a reason to avoid certain obstacles? I've never seen a player get hit by anything. Or is it you just run through and time is your only enemy
Can't wait for this game

Hate the pop up wathever effect they use on the background... detracts from the action on the frontplane.
Whatever, I have seen it already, and it looks great. Prefer the Amazon one though, showing bosses and better music.
And no slowdown in the one I saw
EDIT: By the way, the ghosts clearly have poisonous gas. So yes you have to be careful of them.
But still no word on those pre-order bonuses for the UK? I want the Nariko.
It's why Nintendo does so well
I want it to play with my friends. The gameplay aspect is boss's, and general platforming. I think Banjo 3 and Spore, both have too much of an agenda to truly be great. They both have creational aspects, but neither can boast the creative and personal freedom there is in LittleBigPlanet.
WANT WANT WANT.
(edit - given the above its also worth noticing its walmart sponsored!)

Its not so much not knowing what gameplay is, its more of me not seeing a lot of people who are casual gamers getting into the game because atleast from my point of view, it lacks focus and looks more like work than a game. This is just what I see now in the title though, im hoping a demo comes out. I do know when I found out it wasnt a PSN game i was very disappointed though, im not sure I see enough to warrant the 7800yen its gonna cost.
I'm amazed by the possibilities. and the physics is looking tight!
Apparently the gameplay seems to appeal to a lot of people so that's fair enough, but I personally don't see it.
You can create your own levels and crap. Its gunna last really long because either you can a)create loads of levels if your the creative type, b) download new stuff whenever you get bored with the stuff you got if you just wanna play, or both.
