Xbox 360 PS3

Namco/Bandai surprises everyone by releasing a playable demo of Trusty Bell (also known as Eternal Sonata), available on the japanese Marketplace of the Xbox 360. As usual, here is a video of the entire demo, in english. For the 720p version, you'll have to wait until this evening.

I´ve played through the demo as well and I loved it! Will it come to the EU because all I´ve seen is the September date for the USA..?
Cheers

Yeah done with the demo, and it says September in the end, looks only to be the US date as that publisher don't publish games in europe... hence no Eternal Sonata to europe....

Ah well, it beter be region free however, the battle system was quite fun thought a bit annoying at times as eg the little boy soem times get his completly useless 'Night shot' and sometimes his awesome special gun attack....

And polka's healing ability doesn't show up every time either gah, didn't show up at all when I was on the last boss, was darn hard due that.

Yet to figure out how this works. As right now it's just more annoying then anything else.

Also does someone how how this 'session' or rater playing Music works, I seem to have no clue beside going to that guy you see in the video, I did find a score piece in one of the houses but well yeah.

Those skills depends if you are in shadow or in light.

Mugi, the reason is because of the light & dark spell system. e.g. Polka's healing ability is a "light" spell, meaning, you need to stay out of shadows to cast it, and "dark" spells need to be cast when the character is in shadows... its quite a clever system.

Dont you worry people I am sure the game will be region free and I am sure UBISOFT will pick up the publishing rights for europe or may be even microsoft will do it. /crosses fingers. Oh and the game is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G

Looks like there is the cooking system that I loved in Tales of Destiny 2(my favourite jRPG on PSX), and the fighting similar. Plus it looks great, has many secrets, and is about my countryman.

You cant get any better than this.

ATM it's
Lost Odyssey > Eternal Sonata > The Last Remnant > Blue Dragon:P

has there been an official announcement confirming this game as coming to PS3?..if not this shouldnt be here...

i even checked the ESRP website and the game was pulled..untill an official announcement is made, this game should not be in this section...if it gets announced as multi then ok, but until then and if, it should remain only on the 360 side...

this site shouldnt run on speculation

This news had me dashing for my 360... :) *downloading now*

MugiMugi since when did Namco not publish games in Europe.

You keep saying it's not guna come here, but i haven't heard anything that would suggest it won't.

The fact is that JRPG's are normally wel recieved in Europe (probably more so than America) so why they wouldn't release it here is bizarre, and you are probably making a big deal about nothing.

I really hope it comes to the PS3 , for it would be a real shame to miss such a beautifully styled game ... and I love Chopins music (judging by the name this should feature some compositions of his)

Jollipop: Mainly because majority's of the RPG's does not release in Europe, Including Namco's RPG's, There is so far what? 10 Tales of games? and ONE have been released in Europe due Nintendo forced them to.

Thats just a tiny example why, and yeah there is not a single word, and the game is almost out hence why is there no word?

And RPG's more received in Europe then US, since when? About 50-60% of the RPG's released to consoles find itself to Europe, only half of those takes another extra year.

Namco didn't published Xenosaga I (and I'm still waiting for Xenosaga III) in Europe so this can happend again. But Eternal Sonata it's a very comercial game, so if Namco doesn't want to publish it here, another will do it.

Kind of, ESRB listed the game as 360/PS3, but then later took down the PS3 listing. Which probably means they jumped the gun a bit early and Namco asked them to remove the PS3 listing. I don't doubt it won't come to the PS3, just seems it will be timed exclusive on the 360 for the being. Sort of like Ace Combat 6

You can watch some cut scene if you leave a controller for a while at the title screen, so don't miss them.

they took down the whole listing not just the PS3 listing

there are 2 possible reason why it was pulled - first one is your conclusion - the second one is: maybe they got some additional material ,that made them pull the rating to review the content anew
