Xbox 360 PS3

Warner Bros Ent., the masters of releasing trailers in crappy image quality, are now releasing two gameplay videos from Project Origin (aka F.E.A.R. 2). The game is planned to be released this fall on Playstation 3, PC and Xbox 360.

My only fear (no pun, etc...) for this one is that movement isn't as PAINFULLY slow as the original. Or the expansion packs for that matter. Playing FEAR after another FPS such as HL2 or Doom 3, it seems as if the game is permanently stuck on bullet time mode in comparison.

Looks alright though, not exactly a massive departure from the other titles in the series but I guess it can't be judged on only a few minutes of footage.

I only hope that the Analog Stick Controls are better on 360 than in FEAR... Beacause that was what kept me from buying that game after playing the FEAR Demo.

I hope leaning is out of the game. I never used it and those buttons could be used for something else. But I could go for the pc version...

It looks like it's far more realistic than previous fear. And I sooo hope the control isn't lagged like on the 360. (I'll be getting it for ps3 though). I hereby allow any FPS to directly copy COD4's aiming-system. Period. :)

I'm just not impressed, not even a little bit. The whole time I was thinking 'Oh yeah, seen that before'. It looks just like an expansion, more of the same. Monolith really needs to clear their minds and come up with something original.
and while they're at it drop that nasty dated graphics engine.

It's gonna own, but it's pretty clearly only going to appeal to fans of the original.

Personally I can't wait to play it.

Leaning is pretty easy to implement without the use of extra buttons. Toggle crouch, and hold crouch for leaning using the movement analog.

STFU. Seriously. We get that people don't like the F.E.A.R. But here's the thing. it has physics, more then many games, it has crisp clean visuals without jagged edges or tearing. It plays buttery smooth for the most part. And pretty much EVERYTHING has is own distortion effect or colliding particle effects. The game also has pretty amazing AI and stuff, so please, knock it off. Nobody cares when idiots who don't know jack shit about game engines whine about them except people just like them. The previous F.E.A.R. game and expansions provided some of the most exhilarating game play in an FPS to date. I have no doubt that this will deliver an equally excellent experience.
