We just received a copy of Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 so here is a first video of the game. We will start with an entire match opposing Manchester United to Marseilles in normal mode. You will notice the French commentaries, unfortunately these were the only available commentaries with the German ones. More videos will come in the next few days.
update 2: Third video added. I played on the hardest difficulty setting and it shows.

Hard to tell by the video but i hope the goalie AI is alot better in the retail than it is in the demo - where you may as well play with an open net
i've switched to fifa due to pes08 and pes09 suck-age but now im happily back on the pes team.

Anyway, FIFA 10's a fantastic game, but its great gameplay kinda overshadows many of its faults. The graphics do need improving in my opinion - if the visuals can match the animations, then that really would be something. But, more importantly, EA needs to try and incorporate more of an atmosphere into FIFA. I think 1UP giving FIFA 10 a 7.5/10 is absolutely ridiculous, but I actually agree with them that there is a real sense of atmosphere missing in the game. I want the crowd, commentary team and players to go crazy when I score a goal; I want stadiums to feel like cauldrons of noise and passion. FIFA 10 doesn't really have that. At least, not in abundance.
pes is like a couple of robots on a green and they try to play football.
@blmbox, I think the reason for that score was to simply go against the grain. You always get one or two that does that when something is getting really good scores across the board just to be controversial. The fact that Fifa 10 is riddled with bugs is enough for people to downgrade it, even though it's got the core elements right, which are gameplay enhancements. I've only really noticed one bug, though I've been smart and avoided the MM until the patch comes.
Players faces are amazing, but for some I think that the head is strangely shaped?
I think that, in a zoomed screen, PES looks better than FIFA. But overall(moving, animations and stadiums), Fifa is still above.
But actually we have a draft year with a terrificly bugged FIFA 10 and a PES in which the developers tried to fill the graphic objective while give us back the PS2 gameplay with nothing more.
conclusion: 2011 will be the football games year :P
Or, at the very least, football games should be released every two years with the gap filled by (free) transfer and kit updates, as well as interesting modes in the form of DLC. I've always maintained that this should be the case with football games, but sadly it'll never happen.
Won't happen of course with a third dev, because you have to put so much work and money into it since we gamers are a spoilt bunch: we want great graphics, licences and of course a sim-like gameplay experience. And for the sake of cashing in, none of the two will skip a year. As a matter of fact, EA is probably working on the WC game for next year as we speak.
