This looks pretty heavy. Want to see more gameplay though, but so far so good.

The Club and Army of Two are hardly simular games. I don't think many people are getting that The Club is supposed the be the shooter equivalent of a score attack style arcade game. Maybe Bizarre just isn't selling that concept well.

I hope there's a demo, I'm still on the fence here.

There needs to be a demo. I still don't truly understand this game. They need to show a gameplay-only lengthy video along with a demo, or else this will end up worse than I thought.

It looks actually a LOT like it's using the PGR3/4 engine. I mean, some blur effects and the way everything looks and moves convinces me to that. Not that it's good :P

this is essentially a PGR game with gunman instead of cars. you shoot people in the head to keep a combo going, instead of stylishly rounding corners. Like any other racing game, you compete for the best time on each "track". IMO the game will get repetitive...

I don't see much depth in the game.

I hope they aren't taking a serious approach to the storyline of this game. Because damn, that first one was just corny. Iceman is going to bring the heat[paraphrased]? So many levels of lame right there.

Actually, these kinds of games are the games that have most replayability.

However the outcome, I like that somebody tries to put new ideas in the shooter genre. And a FPS with style *could* work, although only versus live opponents. I wonder if they'll scrap the Single Player altogether or come up with a half cooked approach like UT3.

Seems like a cross between Fight Club and Team Fortress-2. Either way, I think it`s going to suck personally....just got this gut feeling :0(

I'm not sure if arcadey time attack shooters are really my thing, but all the previews I've read of it basically result in the writer wetting themselves in joy, so maybe it's more fun that it first looks.

Oh and prodygee, the game is indeed using the PGR4 engine. Maybe there will be more rain in later levels...

nice graphics and effects sadly the gameplay looks about as avarage as they come. i'd much rather have a well made story mode thats well told and offers a degree of connection to the player then what is essentially target practice quake 3 style gamplay minus the exagerated, man cannon, OTT fun of it all. score based modes really dont keep me coming back for more, and when thats the case, its gonna have about 5 minutes of innitial appeal and then get shelved while i play something with more depth.

I don't think there's many shooters that have attempted this style of gameplay.. the only thing in recent history that comes close is COD4's arcade mode. Personally, I think score-attack style gameplay has a good foundation for good replayability. Look at GeoWars. Doesn't get more repetitive but the game is good, solid oldschool fun.
