Crowd looks so cheap on both versions and what hapened to AA?

I wonder if the turned on the physics yet on the Xbox 360 version. I like this game more over any other tennis game.

Sorry about this guys, I know you'll probably disagree, but the PS3 images look much better than the 360 version. Though they are made by different dev teams so that may be the reason.

Here's one thing anyone should be able to notice:

The 360 version has ALOT more aliasing than the PS3 version. But if you think they're the exact same, then fine.

Nope the same Team that does the Arcade version does the PS3 version. Considering the Hardware the Arcade version runs on it probably is only running the main core of the PS3 and the RSX. The Arcade is a P4 with an Nvidia GF6 kind of card, since the GPU's are the same the GFX don't require much porting.

The 360 version is being converted by the same team who did Outrun 2 for the xbox. Granted they are talented, but they can't do as much as the original team. First of all the RSX is in GPU more the same to the Arcade then the Xenos (Unlike Outrun 2 wich basically was the same machine with more memmory as the Xbox). So not only are they the team that made the game they also have a huge difference in hardware to cross.

The PS3 version will look better, not because the hardware is superior but because the Hardware is closer to the Arcade hardware.

The issue here is they don't even seem to be using tiling in the 360 version at all.

I bet they got the gpu configured as non-unified too. The 360 gpu is a new type of gpu and I notice many devs don't yet seem to be properly utilizing it or maybe they don't wish to learn how?

I guess its up to first parties like bungie (and I pray lionhead, rare and turn 10 too) to show these developers what they are missing out on by showing them how to really use the 360's gpu.

The crowd look awful in both versions of the game but to my eyes the PS3 version has a slightly sharper look and looks less jaggy than the 360 version (look at the nets...)

The ps3 version looks a lot less jaggy and its understandable when you think about it because the ps3 doesn't need to use a tiling method to achieve 4XAA. It just does it like gpus have been doing for years and it likely does AF the same too.

screenshots will not have AA, so moaning about the lack of AA in these images is stupid, its just how they capture the images, the AA will be in the game on your screen so stop moaning.

This is not a dev problem, this is a business. Sega is going EA path.

the irony is that with the 360 having more consoles in homes...the 360 ver is bound to sell more .
why couldnt have sega got the same dev team to do both games ??
this just adds to the xb1.5 fire.

thank god for capcom....who seem to know what to do with the 360.

the 360 ver looks so bad it isnt even funny.

ps3 version looks better, but the screenshots are also in a much higher resolution, and made by different dev teams. this wont be indicative of other multiplatform games.

good news doesnt get hits....bad news does
gears is amazing...but it will always be "ps3 is sooooo much better than the 360 because virtua tennis looks better"

The "720p" images seem to be UPSCALED from an even lower resolution. Thats just pathetic. Whoever is responsible for the 360 version should eat **** and die.

The PS3 screenshots are 1080p and the 360 ones are 720p, this accounts for the jaggyness. I don't own a 1080p set so the games would look the same (in that regard) on my TV
