Rumors are spreading that Microsoft and Rare will show Rare's next game tomorrow at an Microsoft expo, and now this image was put up on a blog from the people behind the expo. Could this be Viva Piñata, rumored to be the new Pokémon?
Update: Rare and Microsoft just announced Viva Piñata. First info up at official website.
Update #2: First images added.
Update #3: Another batch of images added. Release date is upcoming holiday. Update #4: Added the promotional video presenting some of the pinatas, and a few seconds of the game at around 3 minutes.

Imean it does say that you get banned for trolling or anything illegal.

I didnt think getting the first comment and saying ''Yay'' about it was trolling or illegal.

Idk though, if we were on gamefaqs, exactly what you are doing would be considered as trolling. You did nothing but pick a fight. Looking very good. Btw... notice the 4xMSAA :D I wonder, when the pinatas move, do all the little paper shred things wiggle?? Also it looks like they did a good job on the grass. It seems to blend well... hopefully in motion the draw in LOD is done well enough where it does not look like it is "insta-grow" on you. Anyhow, this title is BURSTING with style, color, and detail. Reminds me of Banjo!

Looks like they are really going for the multimedia assault. I love the art style, but I'm really afraid it's going to end up sacharine sweet. Releasing alongside side a cartoon for kids will do that. I did enjoy the original pokemons on the GB though, so what the hell, I'll probably give it a shot.

Hmm, upon closer inspection, I find it looks like a variation on the fur effect from other games, like Conker.
Would be quite the killer effect if they can get it moving around based on character movement!

Day & Night Cycle, weather effects, the grass actually has depth (notice the girls foot and how some grass is on her foot!), some very nice lighting, decent shadows (only complaint is the fuzzy edges on hard objects). Yeah, this looks very nice. I like the waxy look of the leaves and pumpkins.

It could be, that is why I am asking. I cannot wait to see this in motion. I am hoping the trees sway slightly in the breeze.

Also, with the Xbox 360 core being $299, having a nice kid (family) game like this could be a good system seller.

High quality water, DoF, HDR...looks like its got it all. Definitely has 4xAA turned on no doubt. This game looks graphically better than Kameo IMO.

Omfg, look where the shadow meets the grass. It really does look like the grass has depth to it. It looks like the shadows sink down under the top of the grass, instead of just sitting on top of it, or going strait to the bottom w/o even rendering it on the grass blades.
