What is this game about anyway? Like, what are you supposed to do?

Screens look awesome.

The game is about the wounderfull world of Pinata's. You must create a world for them to live in. You attract new pinata's you your "garden" by certain things you do and grow. There is a saturday morning cartoon that my kids are already addicted to that if you watch it will give you a general idea about the game along with what you can do to attract certain pinata's to your garden.

as far as i know the game is about breeding and farming pinatas which are the colorful creatures seen in the screenshots. You do that by making a nice world and the creatures will come if you have something that interests them... So, you could say its a advanced form of tamagoshi.

looking great as ever

That is lovely, they've completely polished off all the little rough edges. It's not often you see a game with a completely unique graphical style that doesn't have any glitches or noticeable imperfections.

Why? That game's only be announced... it's still got plenty of time lol. Viva Pinata is likely nearly completed anyway if they've been sticking to their release schedule (by end of year).

The graphics seems really good. I even think that it sometimes looks like a CG movie or something.

The game will run fast. It ran slow before it was finished at E3, and since then, framerate issues have been solved. If you want to hate this game, please don't use frame rate as an excuse ;)

These new screenshots look great. I think they show some new pinata too.

this game looks sheerly beautiful.... at x06 this game was running BEAUTIFULLY... i was amazed at how silky smooth it looked but maintained its super sharp look... i loe the graphicla styling

BTW. hint: new pinatas will wander into your lot of land but they are only happy and willing to say once they change to their bright colorful color :)

You know this games gonna be cool.... i mean me and my girlfriend and her sister love Sims but their is no Sims 360 yet... so a game like this i get the feeling will be really good.

Whats funny is i'd agre with most of the people here this game could be one of the best looking gmes, yes its kiddy but the fact is just look at how smooth and crystal clear everything is... its not easy to get a full motion game with that level of smoothness.

Tupacolyte: e3 was dropping inthe 20fps but at TGS and X06 this game was running perfectly we didnt see any slowdowns :)

btw pinata "mating" is funny lol

...

you know what else makes this game better than most others graphically... ITS BRIGHT! Most games use darkness and gloomynes and overcasted lights to hide imperfections but this graphical style allows the game to be very bright and vibrant but still look great.

I think this game will be neat, but it won't be much of a game if there isn't some sort of antagonist. They don't talk too much about that type of gameplay. Whenever I watch the cartoon (with my son of course), there are some bad guys who try to eat the insides of the pinantas. Since thier insides are candy it doesn't make the game violent in anyway considering that kids beat the hell out of pinantas in the real world.

I agree I'm waiting for the sequel. This game does seem very compelling.(sarcasm) Graphics look great. (no sarcasm) Farming Pinata's... uh yeah... ok. I'll stick with COD3, Forza 2, GOW, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I guess its not too crazy when you consider a Italian plumber stomping mushrooms and saving a princess.

Funny how a company who has never let us down EVER gets all these doubters while they praise companies that repeatedly dump out games with abysmal frame rates and who lie through their teeth about fixing it before gold.

An excellent recent example would be The Godfather on 360, runs no more than 15 or 20fps out in the world and looks like utter turd. "Lets give it an 8!!!"

This game is hands down the most graphically advanced title on the 360 and might just hold that honor for many months to come.
