God damn it, i'm ps3/pc gamer but i really had high hopes for this game.
If the system is deep and not just a QTE festival, bring it, It's time for some bourne Action with fischer flavour.
Few games are worth playing more than once if they are focused too heavily on story.
I just have no idea what to think yet, the game seems like a real toss-up in some areas.
Gameplaywise, I'm digging it. But, I fear the gameplay will include too much QTE's during combat...but that remains to be seen yet. Also, this looks a million times better than it looked back in 2006. It looked like a big mess back then...
To elaborate on this > In the original splinter cell the goal was getting from A to B and avoiding getting seen, alright you took down a few bad guys but you knew that going gun-ho would result in death. This video portrays the game as being very action orientated and i dont think i like it.
Just my opinion of course.
I'll stop this now though before it goes on too long. In the end, I've read impressions and everyone says this game isn't automatic and the command just bring a new level of strategy to the game that is different than the previous entries. You will find out if that is true or not and you will choose whether this game is good or not. Empathize for the game and for one another. This is a new game none of us have ever played before and embrace the excitement in that.
If it fails then you will have what you want again. They should at least try though.
This is what happens when I drink coffee too RAPTOR

its now Bourne cell !!!
ubisoft have trully ruined the genre .
we should make a poll for the old version of splinter cell conviction .
i dont want to be a black panther , i want to be a silent hidden panther.
Clearly they've ruined the formulae and excussed themselves by saying they are trying to evolve it.
I think people forget how trail by error splinters cell on the xbox was. This "mark and execute" looks to add a sense of urgency, and satisfaction, to the end result of stealth gameplay (remember to set up the "auto kill" you first have to get close enough).
The gameplay already looks leaps and bounds over DA regardless.
The problem is, Ubisoft has been showing too much of the "action" route of gameplay, and haven't shown a mission as a "stealth" gamer would. They haven't showed if there are non-lethal KOs. I heard dragging bodies is taken out. So, stuff like this needs to be answered and marketed by Ubi now.
