If you've never truly be interested in the game because it was not originally announced on Xbox One, you have some catching up to do with our verdict and 2 gameplay videos. Enjoy!
Verdict
While the gaming media is mostly occupied with the release of the Nintendo Switch, alongside the remarkable Legend of Zelda, and the technical masterpiece Horizon: Zero Dawn, NieR: Automata deserves a spot right between these two mastodons. With its varied gameplay, rich background and plot, incredible soundtrack, and highly energetic battles, the game has a lot going for it – something even its technical quibbles can't overshadow. With exceptional results, Yoko Taro and Platinum Games come together to remind gamers everywhere that Japanese developers can still deliver a great experience for players of all ages.
