Ubisoft and Midway keep releasing new videos of the mindless but rather fun Wheelman, with today the "Action Gameplay" and "Fly High" trailers. Update: Added the launch trailer.
When i saw the first videos i thought meh but after playing the demo its a day one purchase for me. Kind of a mix between Midtown Madness 3, Driver and the Getaway is what sprang to mind when playing it, but as Blim so aptly put it "mindless but rather fun" :)
Hmm, i thought the demo was appallingly terrible- It reminded me of those old racing games like cruisin' USA for some reason. I did like the rediculous ramming mechanic, though...
The demo's great! It could do with more anti-aliasing though. It's like a cross between Chase HQ: SCI, Crazy Taxi and probably that PSP game. (Pursuit Force I think? I've never played it but it looks cool and you can jump on other vehicles like in this, although I can't remember if you take control of them like in this.) This needs more publicity, I hope it has loads of good adverts when it's released.

I thought it was nice pick up and play fun. Reminded me of how burnout used to be.

Actually one of the best gameplay trailers ive seen lately, really well done, great emphasis on the actual gameplay rather than cinematics :)
I did like the demo, it was dumb to jump from cars to cars, but who cares if it's done with a sense of humour?
However i did miss a TAD more heavy steering, i would have loved some more GTA4 style physics, and a bit less burnout twitch-physics.
