PS3

Sony updated the official White Knight Story site with a big teasing for the next TGS (we'll be there!), and also added a few small artworks and images of the game. They aren't all new, but better late than never :)

What is it with Japanese publishers and postage stamp sized screenshots? The artwork looks lovely but it's hard to appreciate it when you can't make out any details.

It makes you curious??!! ^^
You see something of the game, but can't really define it, in some kind it looks really good, but you want to see more ^^That's the whole tactic =)

Too bad those shots are from that very old trailer from like a year back?(or more) and these NEW shots recently came out...the first two ingame pics sadly don't have that magical look anymore....

I know this is a little off topic, but is Gamersyde ever planning on implementing an RSS feed? I only visit 3 gaming sites (this being one, obviously), and the other 2 feature it. It would make navigating through the latest news a lot easier!

This game had nothing going for it graphically when it was first revealed. But the beautiful thing about it was the art and the animation, of course it will retain the beautiful art during the 3d transformation but I think the original trailer was 100% scripted and motion captured. I don't expect the game to have that quality of animation when it's next shown at TGS.

I honestly think this game looks quite dull. I mean, i have seen it all before, like a hojillion times in other Japanese RPGs. I just find everything to be so incredibly stereotypical for this kind of game.

Most of that "magical" look was from concept art. I rarely seen rendered models and environments look even close to the concept art other than the general design. Anyways, the in game graphics aren't ugly, just a bit different.

Yes, like how racing games are so revolutionary from each other or FPS games or anything else for that matter. I'm not saying you're wrong, but it's unfair to single out JRPGs when other genres suffer from the same problem.
