Oh wow, no kidding. :D I'm such a huge fan of this guy.

What the, Ellen Page, too? I've looked at this game and thought it looked really nice, but never really did too much reading up on it. Likely a must buy for me now.

You know, as a non-fellow countryman, i never couldn't quite follow what all the fuss over Willem Dafoe was all about, other than him being one fugly looking dude. What am i missing ?

Interesting. Now I have at least one reason to look forward to the further info about the game. Didn't really enjoyed Heavy Rain (good thing I was never excited with it and borrowed it from a friend instead of wasting money on it) so Beyond: Two Souls wasn't even close to my purchase list. Maybe I'll rethink it later, who knows.

in all the flaws and shittiness of Heavy Rain efforts, the lenght wasn't one that was that noticible. Maybe the fact that all 40+ segments, all took 2-5minutes, and when they did drag on, was bc you were tied doing some stupid mundane shit or totally worthless to the scene, but it adds to the "oh, but it does have gameplay!" fanatics campaign.

see the Hunter. A bit slow and boring, but he is good on it.

I'm not a fan of actors in games. I think Beyond will be a great game but it would've been a lot more interesting without the Juno chick and this guy

I like him for his roles in Platoon, Boondock Saints and (stop throwing stones at me!) Spiderman. I have yet to see The Hunter though but it's right on top now on my 'To Do'-list.

At least they're hiring American actors. The Heavy Rain voice actors were mostly French and just could not get their accents down to save their lives. "Nahman Jaangden".

FWIW I enjoyed Heavy Rain, but this game needs to step it up. More of the same isn't going to really fly.

Wern't most of them english actors? Aside from the prostitute who stared in the announcement trailer. Norman jayden definately was though.

I'm still a bit stunned that they got this guy on the game. That's pretty insane. Game went from having my interest somewhat, to now something I have to get.

Not necessarily. GTA IV had no famous people whatsoever and happened to have the most forgetful story and characters of the entire franchise.
e.g I never thought a biker, a eastern European and a black guy could look fairly the same but Rockstar found a way.

No just no, total bullshit really. Niko, Johnny and Luis in-game are totally different characters, don't look similar or anything. Maybe they do to you on the artwork, not to me, but in the game even less. Forgetful story and characters? Certainly not for me, greatly enjoyed it, great characters.

Yea, I loved GTA 4's characters and story. It was a very cool immigrant story that hits close to home in some important ways.

This is cool, but I kind of don't know quite what to think of actually having an actor physically represented in game.

Personally I am not that interested in this game at all, but I am also not really interested in games trying to be more like movies. It's an inevitable direction for some developers I guess, but I am more interested in games being their own thing.
