If you're a PC gamer, chances are you've heard of Nvidia's Shadow Play, whose beta started a few days ago. Thanks to this new system added to the most recent graphics cards, capturing videos in PC games becomes easier and less demanding, though it's still not perfect in fast gameplay sequences. Audio can only be recorded at 96 Kbits, which is ok but still below our standards, but should satisfy most people. Overall, it's a promising tool that we think many players will be glad to use, even more as it is completely free. Here's an example of the video quality you can get with the new replay of WRC 4.

I must say I really like shadowplay. And for all the people that upload video's to youtube shadowplay should be sufficient.

Not everything can look like Crysis. And I definitely would not call it ugly. Could you do more with a small studio having to pay for the official license? I doubt it.

Anyway I love the gameplay, I already completed the career, great game.

ive been using MSI afterburner for quite some time now capturing gameplay and uploading to my youtube channel, shadowplay seems like another gimmick to sell nvidia graphics cards when msi afterburner does a better job anyway.

on to WRC4 it looks worse than dirt2, was this PC running the game with all the eyecandy set to maximum, i just hope that was shadowplay causing that frame time issue if not nvidia have taken a step backwards.
