I LOVE this game!!! Finally a true rally game. Dirt 2 was good but it was way too arcadey and way too Americanized....not to mention it had almost no RALLY stages.

Americanized?

Well....this game feels like the most arcadish rally sim wannabe in game history. For me, WRC fails in every aspect, arcade racing, terrible sounds, PS2 graphics and car models just CANT compare to todays standards.

But how does it play?

That's really its main flaw. You end up racing on the same tracks over and over again. In a way, it is even worse than Dirt 1. It is really something they need to work on for the next episode. Still, the game is definitely worth it.

I worked on Dirt-2 and I know what Tomcatobi means when he uses the expression; `Americanised`, but I don`t think he meant it in a bad way.

The introduction of Ken Block was certainly a different direction for the franchise in a way and with it came the new mechanics of a more `X-Games` feel to the title.

Overall, I felt as though the game was indeed too `Arcadey` for me to enjoy as much as I did the previous titles, but that said, it was still solid enough for most people to enjoy.

Is this still ps only series? I remember older ones. They were so shitty or medicore at best so this was never the reason to buy playstation. average graphics and fysics doesnt look right, so seems like they have kept fans of the series pleased.
