PC Xbox 360 PS3 Wii PS2 Xbox Gamecube

X05 is not over yet on Xboxyde, and here is a big gameplay video of "GRAW", without sound and showing a very early build (the first one playable actually). Obviously, the game is far from being finished, but don't worry. The game has been delayed to february, so there's fair enough time for it to grow and polish.

game has faded lately on my list and I was no longer going to purchase it even when it was still slated to be released at launch. Hopefully the few months of delay will help fix this game up nicely.

It looks like its coming along well.... i just hope with added time they will implement the first person view again... meaning that you can see the gun... like an fps... like the original trailers... because a mixture of cover to cover third person shooting, then in position fps sounds amazing...

One thing I loved about the ghost recon is it's great co-op. I think tis game has potential it just needs some sprucing up. It has 3 months extra now so I expect it to be great.

Looks great, the draw distance gives the city a nice sense of scale. Explotions look great as well. If it plays anything like the 2nd game I will definetly be picking this up when its released.

People please. Remember when the early concepts of PGR and Kameo compared to the first playable display? Give this game time to flourish and it will own up to the repuration created by the E3 presentation.

^^ Well IMO people are dissing it because the trailer released alot earlier than this look´d ALOT better than this. So of course people are going to compare this to it. And since the earlier trailer was supposebly in game why doesnt this look anything like it? Thats what people wanna know.

But yeah the game looks pretty good for being still in developement. I might pick it up, but propably not since this just isnt my kind of game.

The problem is that this game has gone backwards. At E3 it looked atmospheric and like a real war. This looks like and average run and gun.

I think 5 months will do a lot though. Especially with the gameplay and graphics.

WHY is everyone so sure that the 60% build at X05 was the furthest build version in existence? I am pretty sure Ubi has a further build back at home polishing and finalizing it so it will be like the graphics shown back at E3. I don't know Ubi for being liars to its fans. I think the ingame footage we've all seen back at E3 is the real deal. They just don't show it yet to the public because I think they want to show the whole deal when it's done.

If you ask me why they did delay the game, I sure don't know. It's a shame but It'll be worth the wait for just those few months. In the meantime I pickup some other games.

Also my information I just told, isn't only my point of view, but also the one from a Ubi soft employee who I got in touch with.

Me being a huge fan of Tom Clancy... don't worry the game will blow us all away when it hit's us in Februari :D

It isn't exactly that far from the E3 footage, all it lacks is the ultra-tight animations.

What the hell they are thinking with those crazy huge crosshairs I don't know though!

yes true, It doesn't look that much different but hey it must be something that makes the game look les-nextgen than it did. I think we need to give the peepz at Ubi the time to polish and complete the game to the e3 standards. If they do that (and I am convinced they will) then the game will be an awesone next part of the Tom Clancy series!

Graphics are pretty good and animations are ok. Its the atmosphere and gameplay that should be stepped up to make this next gen. You don't really feel the horror of war, and the actually gameplay isn't that different to GR2.
Watch the opening to the MGS4 vid, or even the whole killzone vid, thats my idea of next gen.

It looks EXACTLY like GR2 gameplay and people were expecting it to be as smooth as the E3 demo because that featured a full gui and was even more convincing as "in-game" than the PS3 Killzone video ever was. I'm disappointed, and I'm usually pretty realistic about these things and often support the games that are getting undeserved critique. This time though, I feel really cheated. If I want to enjoy GR2 type gameplay I can just play GR2 (which is excellent) and its offspring Summit Strike (which is also excellent). Since the E3 vid I just EXPECT MORE from GR3, and I think it's fair that everybody does.

They have stated that the extra development time will focus on the 360 version though, so not all hope is lost. Ubi are excellent and unlike another big publisher who shall remain unnamed, rarely disappoints. Their games for the Xbox has pushed the system (Chaos Theory, Far Cry Instincts) and I expect nothing less from Ghost Recon 3. So there you have it, I say wait and see.

Oh and demand more than this.

You cant compare 2 demos over against actual gameplay.
If you want to compare you can do it with the gameplay footage of call of duty2.
Every dev can make impresive pre-rend ,or real time demos but with footage is completely diferent.

I agre with most people on here. It looks good, but it doesn't look great as the E3 demo did. That E3 demo really got me excited, and I wasn't a fan of the GR series recently. It looks similar to the E3 demo just not quite as good. It just doesnt have tne environment that the E3 demo had. It doesn't even have the affect where the HUD goes kinda fuzzy when you get shot. That was an awesome feature in the E3 demo.

I have faith in them, and I think the reason they delayed it is because its not up to Ubisoft's standards just yet.

Delays suck to us because we have to wait, but they are always the best thing for a game. If Halo 2 wasn't rushed to come out, that too would be even better than it is now. Rushing it screwed up a few things in the game, and even Bungie knows it was rushed and admit it on the bonus DVD.

I'm willing to wait for them to polish this game rather than a half-assed game be released to us.
