PC Xbox 360 PS2 Xbox Gamecube DS PSP

I still have a few X05 videos waiting to be released, and since the download servers are a bit less saturated it's time to put something new online. So here is this Need for Speed: Most Wanted video, and this time I'm not the one doing the driving.

There are parts where you can see further off into the distance and see mountains and such. That is where it begins to shine a bit. The car models arent anything next gen or special. The car doesnt seem to take on damage after a crash, also the physics for this game are really bad and look like what games 5 years ago would have. The two pluses are the foilage and further off landscape and the road textures have some nice effects. Other than that it's garbage.

Am I really the only one that sees this game as a good fun arcade racing game? I doesn't look that bad tho it could look alot better but still I think this game might be fun to play :) well I'll have to see if I buy this one AFTER I'we bought myself a PGR3 :D

Looks like 360 with the hdr lighting etc...

Don't forget guys, it will be nothing more than a high resolution/texture xbox port...

What I noticed in this and also in the last PGR3 vid is that the textures get high quality only a few meters in front of you. If you look like 10m ahead you only see washed textures. They stream in smooth though. I saw this a lot stronger with PGR3 but that might also be because of the higher quality of the video.
I see that very strong in the road textures, for instance on the third sceenshot from the top in the middle. And on the crosswalks in the PGR3 vid.

Yeah I see it. Its the quality of the video, you can tell by the blurred square shapes. Trust me, xbox 360 can run this game with out trying.

wow the sense of speed in this game is amazing!! its a shame PGR3 has none of this. the vids in PGR3 say 120 miles an hour on the spedometer, yet it looks like your going 30 miles an hour at best. maybe they will get it right in PGR4.

this vid has good graphics too. i may get this now, thanks blim

Yeah, I thought about that too. Might be the case. I always thought BlimBlim does the screenshots from the original and not the compressed vid. But therefore the screens are way to washed and bad and so on. So youre most probably right.

This game plays like a real turd though, unless the XBox demo is completely different from the final 360 game.

The screens are automatically generated from the video as stored on the server.

I was really hoping that this game would return the NFS series back to the GREATNESS that was "Hot Persuit", god I played the living hell out of that game on PC back in the day--best online racer at the time (well, imo atleast); it was just great arcade action..Underground sort of took the series in a different direction..I want to see it come home.

I'm so, so very happy about all these launch racers; the trend towards free roaming city enviroments and cheap "Fast and the Furious" ripoffs are becomming far too big in the genre..some people actually PREFER to race on a track..it's more like..well you know..racing?

Here you have a perfect example of EA trying to cash in on a popular IP.

Who are they trying to fool? They think we're going to buy their shitty game just cause it has NFS written on it? Hah!

NFS3 still remains the best NFS there is.

Well, this can only be XBOX360. 2 reasons for that. reason 1: You can see the HDR effects (not visible at xbox1). reason 2: I've got the DEMO for XBOX and this version (the XBOX1 version) looks much worse. I know, inconceivable, but it is so :D

How do they do it. How do they continue to underwhelm. These guys at EA must of went to Westwood College;) The 360 is very powerful and I honestly feel MS should lean on EA to make them produce higher quality products. This is rediculous, I know we need EA support but damn MS dont just take any kind of support.
