Here is our final PDZ video, a bit "special" this time. In a way to show you properly the co-op mode of the game, Blim shot the screens of the two players in the same time. I'm sure brains used to split-screen series like 24 will manage it very well. And for the others, well, you'll have to watch it twice ;)

It's that the second part of the presentation, or a 'special' version of the first one?
PD: Sorry for my poor english.
Cool vid anyway.
I guess i'm not as fussy as some people would be though :)
Good work blimblim hehe
Cheers Blim and snoopers.
The game looks good graphically, BUT the AI and the physics are mediocre, and regardless of the difficulty level, I'm willing to bet the AI won't change that much, it would simply become more agressive and more damage will be dealt to you. The physics won't change at ALL is my guess and that's too bad 'cause it makes the game look really cheap.
Here are 3 things that concern me/I don't like.
*Cartoony look--character models look like cartoons overall, they look like dolls some times......shiny very shiny dolls. The girl's face looks horrible (too cartoony/fake)not to mention her hair is steady as hell and doesn't look like hair at all....etc etc, overall cartoony look.
*AI--Stupid, very stupid AI, it can't be described any other way. They just run at you and shoot. In the previous video (Presentation part 1 from xboxyde) they were shooting the damn ground, WHAT THE HELL!!!!!! Not only that, they were just standing there, and shooting the ground, it makes you wonder how stupid the AI can be.
*Physics--Again, HORRIBLE. I mean, yeah, the weapons are strong and sh** but....what the hell? Did anyone notice (in this video) an enemy got stuck in one part and started jumping up and down like crazy (he was dead already).....so yeah, a horrible clipping issue combined with very bad physics.....you know how crazy that gets, we've seen it in this generation many times. A dead body gets stuck on the ground and the physics system goes crazy trying to eliminate the clipping...but it actually is worst.
I really don't know how this game will turn out, like Blim said, I'm going to wait and see.....although it might as well be an average shooter.
seriously difficulty setting makes a huge difference, look at halo2...on easy, the covenant just stand there waiting for u to shoot them, and this is the difficulty that PDZ is on so they can show it without dieing....
if u don't like the look then thats just ure own opinion and i guess u just won't like the game....
and the physics things ure talking about aren't physics they are glitches that will most likely be taken out from the game, even halo2 the bodies do spaz attacks when they die in strange places
Go to a shop, see which ones you can afford then pick the one that best meets your needs. If you're gonna watch normal TV on it though I recommend a CRT. The price you pay for LCDs and Plasmas aren't worth it if you just watch normal TV.
And that's also your way of looking at it. Not all people will buy it because of the multiplayer ONLY--Like yourself. I'd say most will buy it for both things. You might be interested in reading this from gamespot.com, here are a couple of quotes.
"There were three or four vantage points from which we got to provide cover fire for Jack as we progressed through the level. One vantage point in particular tasked us with seeing him safely up through three floors of a building by shooting enemies through its windows. Exploding barrels inexplicably located inside said building made our job a lot easier than it might otherwise have been, and we're hoping that these, like the enemies' sluggish responses to our attacks, will be a feature of the easy difficulty level rather than of the game as a whole."
"The strange thing about taking cover in Perfect Dark Zero is that, although you're hidden behind a wall or object, you're still able to use your crosshair to target enemies that will be in sight once you lean out to shoot at them. These are targets that you should have no way of seeing, of course, and although the kills from cover are extremely satisfying, we can't help but wonder if any kind of line-of-sight feature was ever considered whereby you wouldn't know which enemies were around the corner until you actually poked your head out to take a look."--This one is about Multiplayer

+ BlimBlim's reserved opinion of "wait and see"......and other websites too....Honestly, no one can really say it'll be bad or good, or horrible or outstanding. For the moment, those are the things I'm not happy about and will never be happy about if they aren't changed, and those, along with other things that we don't know yet (could be good or bad) will greatly affect my and others' decision on purchasing.

About physics, no they are not glitches. Yes, the clipping issues and the guys going crazy after that is a glitch. But I'm talking more about how the enemies react to your bullets, it's just exagerated.......and if you call that a glitch, the whole physics system is a piece of crap unfinished part of the game--Which basically tells you the game is not ready for release. The phyics look a lot like the very first times rag-doll physics were used. Halo2's physics are great, clipping happens once in a while I know, but enemies fall to the ground with certain realism, they seem to have some weight. This could get fixed but we don't have guarantees. Again, this is wait and see.
And I know all I said is my opinon, with some facts thrown into the mix. The whole game is wait and see, this is not like PGR3, with PGR3 is not let's wait and see. We know it's going to rock because X, Y, Z, etc....and all the videos show a more polished product. I was very hyped about PD0 and it's not that I'm not anymore, but now I have lots of doubts about the game, sometimes it looks very average and at other times it looks something worthy of a killer APP (Co-oP). Wait and see.
